You just won't believe the variety of historical items on display here. Very cozy atmosphere in the adjoining café.

My wife and I are lucky enough to be able to visit The Old Haa frequently. It's a fascinating local museum, a lively gallery and craft shop and an excellent tea and coffee shop (with outstanding homemade cakes!) all situated in a lovely old building. Popular with visitors and locals it's also a great place for a chat or to... More

A small friendly museum with good exhibits and lovely home made cakes in the cafe. Nice little gift shop and the fair isle jumpers were the best value in Shetland.

Real slice of Shetland life on Yell in the north of the islands. Great little cafe with the best home bakes.

Small but very interesting and packed with history. The Cakes were to die for and the overall hospitality was memorable

The Old Haa at Burravoe is quite special. It's open from May to the end of September every day except Monday and Friday if my memory serves me correctly. I visited this museum quite a few times in 2011 and 2012 and really enjoyed it. The museum is really interesting and I learned lots about life on Yell, the wildlife... More
