If you want to encounter dolphins in the wild, this trip is a must. Several groups of dolphins interacted with the boat during the trip, we got to see them close up and were able to take some great photos. It was a wonderful experience! The guide, Sarah, was excellent and knew so much about the marine environment - and... More

Went on ecoventures and thoroughly enjoyed the 90 minute boat ride It may appear quite expensive but you are on a fast boat and cover a lot of ground. We were lucky enough to see dolphins but it was also great to see the world war coastal fortifications up close and the various seabirds. If we hadn't met the dolphins... More

I booked this boat trip as a surprise for my wife and the whole experience really over delivered from start to finish. Having been on numerous boat trips previously, both at home and abroad, she had never seen dolphins swimming in their natural habitat, so we could only hope for some good luck on the day. We were very warmly... More

I went with my friend who is a local and raves about the experience. We had a short briefing about what we may or may not see on the water and also a what to do and don't on the boat. We were all given waterproof/windproof trousers and coat, which we were all grateful for once out of the protection... More

This was my fourth trip with EcoVentures and again an unforgettable experience. We saw lots of Dolphins and Porpoise.Sarah, the skipper,is so informative and professional, pointing out lots of interesting features in the Cromarty and Moray Firth and does her best to find the Dolphins, which is not easy when they are totally wild and searching for food in a large area of the... Really enjoyed our trip around the Moray Firth - as well as seeing dolphins and their calves, saw loads of birds on the cliffs, and had an interesting trip into the Cromarty Firth where we learnt about the "legs" and also saw the war buildings on the Sutors which can't be seen from the land. Fun, informative, great time on... More

Saw dolphins yet again which was great. Scooted around the soutors and rigs. Can highly recommend and enjoyable 2 hours and every effort is made to seek out the stars of the show.

We had an awesome outing this morning, booking the 10.30 two hour trip before we arrived. Glad we did as boat was full. We so hoped we would see at least one dolphin, having travelled a long way mainly for this purpose (or should that be porpoise?? Sorry!) We weren't disappointed! We found a large group just out to see... More

I tried this trip last year and whilst we didn't see any dolphins on that occasion, the trip was so enjoyable. So we came back again 9months later and what a show those dolphins put on for us! We watched them for nearly an hour, aswell as watching birds and the more per ant features of the bay (an oil... More
