Huge falls with a very impressive flow of water, so much so that there was mist/spray coming all the way to the viewing areas.

Based on some knowledge from some of the locals near to where we were staying, we made the effort to visit the Falls of Foyers - and it was well worth it! A beautiful waterfall situated in between the mountains. Stunning scenery and not something you get to see every day so if you're doing a tour of the Highlands,... More

Nice hike but the falls were less impressive due to some of its mojo being "stolen" by Scotland hydroelectric. Still was pretty nice.

The drive to Foyers from Fort Augustus and on again to Inverness made the trip worthwhile - fantastic scenery enroute. The falls themselves were a little unimpressive presumably due to the dry weather we were having! Nice setting though

We had a week and a rental car to see as much of Scotland as we could. We had driven the full length of Loch Ness on the north side. Someone told us we should drive the length of the south side. Very beautiful scenery. We enjoyed our walk down to the falls. Very nice area.

As the access to this lovely place is down a hillside there are lots and lots of steps. We were passing and as it was a hot sunny day not entirely suitably dressed to go down the steps (sandles and flip flops) but we made it to the first view point and it was really beautiful. There had been no... More

Guess it might have just been the time of year, but teh falls were not such a big event. We missed the spring run off as they were just average in volume. The trek down to see them would be difficult for someone with any mobility issues and not possible for any one in a wheel chair. Just ok ..... More
