A nice, varied selection of gifts and a warm and friendly welcome from the guy in attendance. Something for everyone.

Wonderful experience. Very hands on! Our guide recommended this site and it was a great choice. We were presented with a discussion/show about a day in a highlands' family home. We saw the inside of the house, the kilt wear, weapons used. It was very realistic, warm and took me out of the present time for a little. The presenter... More

Quite interesting - didn't take long to go round. Probably wouldn't go again. If you like history this will suit

Full of hey you jimmy hats and tartan trivia. great if you want an over priced souvenir of Scotland made in China. The video show which was not cheap was really boring.

I have passed this place a few times and never bothered to go in as I suspected it would just be another Scottish gift shop. I was very wrong, there is a small cinema theatre here showing Films of local interest. Great wee place and so unusual.

Loved the history lesson given to us by the enigmatic Ken! The presentation was both information and funny, with plenty of interaction. We got to see the kilt Mel Gibson war in Braveheart and gained a real insight into highland living and just how tough it was.

Rather lovely, little shop but unusual gear that you don't see everyday. Nice, friendly fella behind the counter....

The shop is cute and has a decent selection, but that is not what got this place so many stars. It was the show. First, it was wildly informative and a lot of fun, but the most fun was the kilt. The presenter will call for a volunteer to get dressed up in a kilt. This is something you want... More
