The city of Fort Augustus is really peaceful and beautiful. It’s a small village. You can simply enjoy a walk alongside the canal and then, when you see the Clansman Centre, you have to go there. When you enter the shop, you will take a step into the 17th century. They have recreated the atmosphere of typical Scottish house. The... More

Felt authentic, had the celtic cross I'd been looking for the last 2 weeks, handmade head wraps for kids and a GREAT antler collection that had the rubbed off end. Salesman was a true clan man, or at least gave that impression!

This small operation is mighty in cultural aspects. Learn all about the various Clans and Celtic Crafts. It's right on the Canal and is nice place step into and learn something new.

An interesting walk back in time with an informative and entertaining host who has an obvious passion for history. The actual kilt used in Braveheart is used to dress up a member of the audience and demonstrations of real weaponry then follow (without bloodshed). This was value for money and our kids loved it. It fills up with coach tours... More

The building is great and the room where the presentation is down looks great. The gift shop has the usual Scottish souvenirs, but also has some great deer antlers! I wish I could have carried some back with me!

The shop was well stocked with a variety of local and Scottish gifts, suitable for all ages and tastes.... And even....friendly and helpful staff. Well done.

Came to the clansman centre with my girlfriend on the hope the show was going to be good, well we certainly were not let down. Old Ken as they called him was so interesting in the history of Scotland and knowledgeable about the custom, history and weapons that's the scots used! The setting is very dark and gives you the... Lovely boutique for buying all things Scottish and ken does a historic and humorous show that instructs on all matters of Scottish life from Kilt wearing to slashing someone with a Claymore.
