It was a great time. the staff were real characters and friendly but they packed the boat way too full. No seating left .Lots of people had to stand for the cruise. But a nice wee cruise full or storys and local lore.

I did this cruise as part of my first-ever pilgrimage to Loch Ness (and first-ever pilgrimage to Scotland, period) back in November 2011, and it was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. While I didn't see the legendary and elusive Nessie herself (alas!), I was treated to gorgeous views of the Loch, led by Tony, a tour guide... More

After 3 days of solid rain, we saw the sun peaking out, so hopped on the Royal Scot for a cruise on the Loch. LOVED it. Gorgeous views and a great story about the history of the area. Kids really enjoyed "finding Nessie" with the sonar!

It was a like a Lifetime Experience... that I had been longing for since my childhood, due to the myth of Nessy..! So, as soon as I reach Fort Augustus.. the first thing for me to do was taking the cruise..! It was a looong queue that took more than 40 minutes to board on the boat after buying the... More

On a beautiful day (and we were extremely lucky on a November afternoon), it is a must. Just an hour long, the cruise was fun, informative and comfortable. The boat is well equipped and even has a bar and the staff were very friendly. Nevermind the amazing scenery and views! All in all, a great finish to a wonderful day... More

While Nessie didn't appear during our trip aboard Loch Ness cruises this proved to be a lovely hour on the famous waters. Weather was cold and damp but this didn't remotely dampen spirits on board. The cruise is punctuated with recorded information briefings which gets the balance right between information versus overload. A must-do in this part of the world

Beautiful boat, friendly crew, impressive scenery! You may not see the monster but it's still fun to look!

We went on the rib tour and had Marcus as our guide. We had such a brilliant time, not the usual dull boat trip. We saw goats, birds of prey, the castle and of course humps in the water that I am sure were nessie. We had such a good view of the castle we didnt need to visit on... More
