A nice way to take a look at the famous Loch. Nothing special to be honest but it was nice to learn some facts.

We took the £13 / 1 hour 'cruise', not sure what to expect. Reviews we saw were all positive, for some reason. Unfortunately the Loch was very dull for us, and the boat ride was just a small, uneventful lap around the south of the Loch. The boat itself was seriously overcrowded so we couldn't sit with family.

The view from the cruise is breath taking. We went in search of the Loch Ness Monster - Nessie. But we couldn't find any monster :(

So a great trip giving you a real feel of the geology of Loch Ness. Not to mention fantastic views. A great younger in cheeks commentary about Nessie too.

We did this cruise on New Years eve, it was a wonderful and informative trip on Loch Ness. we didn't see the monster!! but the views were spectacular, all this and a couple of glasses of Malt from the bar, there is a very informative talk as the cruise comes to an end, very enjoyable for all ages.

It was a late November 2015 cruise on Loch Ness. We boarded The Royal Scot boat at Fort Augustus. It was a truly seasonal day. We had sunshine, rain, sleet and snow all in one cruise. My wife and i were on the top deck in all the weather taking photos along with my sister and her husband. Everyone else were inside... More

A very enjoyable and informative cruise on the loch, just long enough (1hr 10min) to appreciate the size of the loch and enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains. The "Royal Scot" has, for those cold-wet days, indoor seating in a cabin with all-round visibility of the loch. Tea-coffee and other refreshments are available when nourishment is required. Informative and... More
