Loch Ness 2000 is very informative, but I did not learn much that I didn't already know. you can tell that they tried very hard at "edutainment", but I did not find it worth 5 pounds. However I have heard from the locals that it is the best Nessie place to go to, so if you are near Loch Ness... more

Go in knowing it's going to be a bit silly and you'll be fine. At the very beginning you are told quite seriously that "today you will be judge and jury" - a bit over the top. You are guided among rooms trying to wow you with technology, but the content was interesting and informative. more

The exhibition might have been "hi tech" as they call it many years ago but now it looks like clapped out old stuff from the 90s. Rather disappointing. Walking around the poorly lit displays from one room to another. Sound and visuals were randomly placed so difficult to follow the presentation. The information about the methods of investigation was too technical, even for me with a science degree, to fully appreciate the work done at Loch Ness Centre. The Exibition Centre offers a nice high tech and modern view of Nessie. One goes from room to room, watching high tech videos of the history of the monster sightings and efforts to locate and verify Nessie's exsistence.
