Today we had the pleasure of a Cruise on loch ness with loch ness cruises. The captain George Edwards was an excellent guide with loads of interesting facts about the loch, the monster and Urquart Castle. We did the 1 hour cruise but would go out for longer during the summer months. We had a great trip thanks to Loch... More

We went to this for a bit of fun, the tour operator was good and full of knowledge about the loch and the myth of Nessie. The boat was clean and the tour took us out around the loch and past of the old castle ruins as well If you have time to stop and do this, i highly recommend

Thank you for another great review. Nessie Hunter is the only small passenger boat on Loch Ness that can sit all our passengers either inside in our heated salon with its panoramic windows or outside on her aft deck, fore deck or up on the flying bridge, so weather conditions is not a problem. I actually walked into this as a Nessie believer and walked away as an unbeliever. Nevertheless the Loch is beautiful and worth a visit. The captain was very, very knowledgable however you could tell he does this day in, day out as his voice sounded very robotic. I know other people have said he's very friendly and funny but we... Thank you for your positive review. It is important to us that you have an enjoyable cruise so I am a bit mystified that you are now a non believer as I am a firm believer and try to convey that in my commentary. We always do a live commentary unlike some of our competitors and have professionally translated facts... More

The captain of the cruise is informative, humorous, knowledgable and experienced about Loch Ness. The boat is not large (we had a total of 6 people on the boat but could hold about 15). The size is perfect as you get to see the captain, see the depth charts of the lake and understand the history of the lake. You... More

Thank you for your great review. As you said our boat is ideal for small groups, we actually only carry a maximum of 12 passengers but with lots of options on where you wish to sit - inside in our spacious and heated salon with its panoramic windows outside on the fore or aft decks or up on the flying... The day we went on our trip on Loch Ness it was sunny and bright which added to the lovely boat trip. The guide was very informative about the surrounding trees and wildlife, sadly no Nessie appeared,

I had booked online with details confirmed by phone for the tour which started at Nessieland and involved us being taken down to the harbour in a mini-bus. There were only four of us on the tour and we were all sat upstairs but that didn't stop George narrating the entire trip. He shared lots of titbits of information and... More

My wife and myself had, along with a family from India and a couple from Australia, a marvellous trip on the 'Nessie Hunter' cruiser. Our host George was fantastic! Over 50 years of sailing and experience on the Loch was crammed into the narration that he enthused over for almost the entire hour of our cruise. It was well worth... More

You can book this cruise round the back of Nessieland! When we booked this it seemed more expensive than others I had seen so was a little curious as to why. You get picked up by Mini Bus that drives you to the boat. Once aboard you are treated to a very personal live commentary from George Edwards 'EDWARDS DEEP'... More

It was the last cruise of the season, A very relaxing Cruise around the Loch with great scenery and to top it off there is a castle on the Loch which I did not expect, The water was calm the captain was knowledgeable and had a sense of humor. I would recommend doing this in the summer months as it... More

Thank you for your great review! We normally operate until the end of October but unfortunately due to a family bereavement plus exceptionally high water levels which made boarding impossible we had to stop cruising on 20th October. However, this year we will run cruises from 1st December - 23rd December and 27th December - 31st December at 12.00, 13.00 and... More
