What a lovely place to spend a sunny afternoon. The gardens are absolutely stunning and a joy to walk around. When you arrive you are greeted by a view over all the formal gardens and this is a brilliant place to take your initial photo’s. There are a lot of steps down into the garden itself but if you take... More

These gardens are impressive.A long narrow tree lined drive ( fortunately one way system) leads to the castle.Unfortunately you cannot enter the castle. The view of the gardens from the castle forecourt is amazing.Very formal, symmetrical and superbly maintained.Well worth a visit.check opening times and dates to ensure you see them

Gorgeous gardens and good for a leg stretcher. If you can't lift a child's buggy up and down steps then I'd avoid, but if you can then its lovely for kids to run around.

Lovely peaceful gardens around Drummond Castle; the kitchen garden is a must see, for the different apple trees alone.

Somehow the castle and gardens avoid the limelight of our main visitor attractions. However it is utterly breathtaking. From the tree- lined driveway, the dramatic castle walls, the turrets and the magnificent gardens. It's the sort of place you drive by for years and never dream that such a beautiful attraction lies nearby. Can't wait to return to see the... More

As a local B&B owner (Galvelbeg House) we often recommend these gardens to our guests, so it is good to pay a visit once in a while just to check them out for ourselves... Needless to say the gardens are still as beautiful and tranquil, very well maintained and great for either a short or long visit. We took along... More

I have been planning to visit these gardens for years, and although they are only an hour or so away something always got in the way. Well I finally got there today. Absolutely stunning, beautiful and peaceful. I don't have the superlative adjectives to do it justice. And I don't even think they were at their full potential yet. The... More

What a surprise, you enter through the castle courtyard - then suddenly you have this balcony-like view looking down on, and across, these splendid lawns and topiary bushes and trees. Down the steps, and a charming walk through the exhibits and passing by conifers (redwoods?) dating from the 1800s. A lovely 'hidden' but spectacular garden. Nick & Irene.
