Lots of rainfall yesterday so fast flowing water. Dry and sunny today but the path was still a bit muddy and slippery. When we got there about ten other people were standing watching on the rocks. Stood for abut 20 minutes and at first thought we were not going to see any salmon. Saw about eleven. Just great!

We've been many times to this spot and when the salmon are running it's the most fascinating experience to see them jump the waterfall. How they can do it is just amazing. Go and enjoy.

Not as amazing as other reviews had made it out to be but maybe due to lack of recent rainfall. Didn't see any salmon. Easy to find but very slippy path down to it. A peaceful spot though

A lovely wee spot, tranquil spot where salmon are seen to be jumping at the right time, but even when not, a site to see. Bit slippery underfoot when wet, wear appropriate footwear and enjoy the sights.

I loved it. I saw salmon jumping about everywhere, it was quiet and serene despite there being a bunch of people there, and it's just really cool. I found myself cheering the salmon on. Best bit is, it's not an aquarium or artificially set up attraction. It's just nature and there's no entrance fee. :)

Great little spot but can be very tricky underfoot best to ensure good footwear. better to visit in early to late autumn when there is a better chance to see salmon leaping up the falls

I was taken to Buchanty Spout to get photographs of the river in spate. I stood by the spout itself and was amazed to see Salmon leaping less than six feet away from me! It was a little difficult to access but well worth the effort.
