This is on the list of places to visit while in Alberfeldy. Even though we are not whiskey drinkers, we decided to visit this distillery. The history of this distillery is truly impressive. There are different tours available from the basic to the making of your own whiskey, of course prices vary. The showroom of whisky's is truly immaculate, as... More

This was a worth a visit, we enjoyed the museum tour with film show and tasting. If you enjoy whiskey , this would be even better with the tasting. A very pleasant cafe, even if you just fancy a cuppa. We even bought whiskey, wrote the label and eagled our own wax.

We bought the Connoisseur Package at a cost of £25 each. Fantastic value as we got 5 whiskies to taste (all good measures) and a whisky from an actual cask - which was an experience in itslef. Our tour guide was Liz who was very knowledgeable about the Distillery. Fascinating to hear all about the history of the Dewar family... More

We stopped off here as my first distillery tour, hard to believe as a Scotsman for over 30 years. Tour started off with a walk around the very detailed exhibition which left no doubt on the history of the distillery. Then the highlight was the walk around the operational distillery. Our tour guide was very good, he has work at... More

The whole attraction was awesome you start of by getting a hand held thing like a phone you are asked to take a seat in the auditorium to watch a short film about Dewar's ,then your tour starts lots of information, I didn't know that Dewar's was the first to blend whiskey.5star attraction.

Our final stop of the day on our distillery tour day. A bit of a drive off the main road to get there but worth it. The facility is really tastefully laid out with a cafe and whiskey tasting area. We didn't do the actual tour, so can't comment there, but the stop was definitely worth it. Would definitely return... More

I have always wanted to tour a whisky distillery. Despite being put off whisky at a young age I have since learned to appreciate it again and in particular enjoy sampling single malts. A visit to Dewar's World of Whisky at Aberfeldy was the climax of a day's tour north of Edinburgh into Perthshire. First stop was House of Bruar... More

Whilst the tour itself is similar to most distilleries, the tour guide was pleasant, helpful and knowledgable. I chose the option of the £25 package and this is where it is a cut above the rest. Not only do you get the standard tour, you also get a dram straight from the cask (cask strength and probably more like two... More

Tour was very informative however lots of stairs were difficult. Although I do not drink whiskey it was still a good place to visit.
