Since 1898 the stills at Aberfeldy have produced a beautifully balanced single malt whisky, celebrated for its heather honey notes. Today this working distillery continues to provide the malt that lies at the very heart of the award winning Dewar's premium blends. Dewar's World of Whisky has reopened following major redevelopment and now features an all new cafe and brandstore! The new cafe boasts a locally sourced menu offering an extensive selection of freshly prepared hot and cold dishes based on the finest ingredients. There is an enhanced dramming bar, which provides a homely yet stylish retreat with hand-crafted furniture, large sofas and a cosy fireplace, the perfect place to sample the range. Tours of the Aberfeldy Distillery take place throughout the day - cask tasting, blending tours and bespoke private tours available. Free parking and foreign language leaflets available.

Finally managed to visit having passed the distillery several times before. Well laid out, informative guide and great value for money with discounts at the shop with your ticket. Fully recommend and will be purchasing more Aberfeldy 12 as a result. Well done Dewars- we will be back.

This was a first of five whisky distilleries we visited during our trip to Scotland. This one was the best, most professional and most enjoyable. We only compared the rest of the tours with this one and this one was hard to beat. Process of whisky making was well explained, museum which they have here is also excellent and whisky... More

Went here with my newlywed who had never had whisky before and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The tour and guide was excellent and covered everything you want to know, was great to see the process in action unlike other distilleries which were like ghost houses. We ended up doing the £25 tour which was well worth it to sample... More

Stopped in past as I'm a real whisky lover, The tour was brilliant and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The Cask tasting tour is a must for any aficionado, great value and a 27 year old straight from the cask. The Cafe was superb as well, not only was the food and coffee excellent but all the ingredients... More

Lovely, modern visitor centre with friendly staff. The cafe is well worth staying for. Hot and tasty food freshly cooked and nicely presented. The cheese scones are divine and I can vouch for both the paninis and the jacket potatoes (two visits in a one week stay in the area, not all in one sitting!) I've been to the distillery... More

First of several other visit to Scottish Whisky distilleries and, yet, the best one. EVERYTHING was simply as perfect as I dreamed of. Great food while waiting for our tour to start, interesting exhibition, and taking the blending class was the best idea ever. Great teachings about how to blend a Whisky and the differences that pass through the blending... More

We chose the connoisseurs tour which was fab and we both thoroughly enjoyed it especially the interactive museum. The tour in the warehouse was extremely well delivered by Dorothy who was lovely and well informed. Also top quality service from Donald. Very happy customers and we even left with a bottle of aberfeldy 12! Highly recommend. £25 for connoisseurs, £15... More

No pre-fixed tour times. Just show up and the staf will give a personalised tour of the distillery. Good exhibition center. Good selection of whiskies and related merchandise (quech's, glasses, books) to purchase. Good restaurant for a snack / coffee. Impressive to see the angel's share of a 21 year old Aberfeldy. No wonder they are flying high...

Just passing through and decided to use the cafe for a snack. Soup and a sandwich well priced for the size of helpings. The cafe is comfortable and is in the main hall of the distillery shop. At the moment, they do not have a bar licence - if you do the distillery trip, you get a free dram at... More
