Lovely shop full of character.

Lovely old building with interesting books and a very good tearoom. If the sun shines, a seat on the terrace with coffee and cake is a delight.

Beautiful collection of books. Inspirational. Lovely atmosphere and pleasant coffee shop. Also enjoyed the adjacent shop for it's quirky and very collectable items. Cute outdoor seating area.

Very much enjoyed the wonderful variety of books on display and the ambience of the place. At the cafe, a sign told us that there was table service but there was no greeting of any kind by staff and we were completely ignored at our table. After a lengthy wait, went up to the counter to ask for our order... More

Ideal local business with good selection of books, music and featuring works of,local artists. We did not eat here but the cafe was crowded and lively.

We called in to look at the bookshop having read that they had won an award as best independent bookshop and we were not disappointed. There was a fantastic range of books - you would be hard pushed not to find something to take your interest in this shop! Having stocked up on early Christmas presents we then had a... More

This place is a must visit if you are in the area. Proper coffee, lovely cakes, nice lunch options. The Water Mill has a lovely cosy atmosphere in winter but is light and bright in summer. Also a great bookshop upstairs. Good service too!

The coffee is good and the cakes superb but it would be nice if a scone or pancake were on offer. The bookshop is marvellous and the choice excellent. Well worth a visit.
