Had a great morning out off-roading in the spectacular hills above Aberfeldy & loch Tummel with our driver Andy who was a wealth of information on all things flora & fauna. He made the trip for us. Well worth doing. This was the highlight of our week in the Aberfeldy area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Highland Safaris on October 10th and would definitely recommend! We had booked the Red Deer & Barn Owl Encounter and the 4x4 off- road driving. We started our visit on what was a dreich day by the fire and enjoyed some delicious breakfast in the café. We fed the deer, seen the stags in... More

We took my 11 year old grandaughter and friends on safari for her birthday and they loved it. We also did the deer experience and gold panning. This went down a treat too. We ate lunch between activities and enjoyed every bite. Staff are enthusiastic and welcoming. Will definitely repeat the experience.

Thank you for taking the time to review your day out with your grand daughter and friends on her birthday day out. Those activities are just perfect for a children's party. We remember the girls - they were an absolute delight. Do come and visit us again. More

We were blessed with lovely weather for November, a very knowledgeable guide and very cooperative wild life when we took our trip into the hills. We had not expected to visit a baryte mine but it transpired that the mine owners built the roads on which we travelled. Andy gave us a full explanation of the process and the use... More

We went to highland safaris for a 4x4 driving experience. There was three of us there and rather than have each of us do 1.5 hrs seperately ( remembering that it can take 15-20 mins to get on and off the hill) we all went together. This meant that more time could be spent driving rather than getting to and... More

Started off at the deer park with our ranger Donald, was really interesting and informative and we learned lots in just under an hour and finished off going outdoors to feed the stags and hinds that were keen to come and meet us. On to the cafe for some light refreshments (delicious and reasonably priced) before we joined our Mountain... More

Loved the experience! The weather was awful, we didn't see much in terms of wildlife! Stuart, our driver, was very informative & answered all our questions & made sure we were having a good time despite the rain! Had great fun in the 4x4 up & down mountains & through the fast flowing river. Stopped in the "bothy" for a... More

The entire experience from the food and service in the cafe to the safari was excellent. The six of us had a jeep to ourselves. Colin the Ranger was knowledgeable and engaging and explained all about the woodlands and the animals the changing colours of the leaves and the land management. The children (7 and 3 1/2) loved it as... More

Thank you for this lovely review - it really made us smile. The Rangers are so good with the kids (as well as being knowledgeable!), we have had families coming back year after year. Did the Mountain Safari on a Pizgauer which offered great views of the surrounding countryside. Stopped at a bothy for tea/coffee and a shot of whisky. The on-site Bike Trax, deer and the cafe were a great hit with the kids too. The cafe does great food at reasonable prices. The cakes were really tasty. Tesco vouchers are accepted for... More
