Drove from Falkirk especially for this after picking up a very glossy flyer from Summerlea. Raced my wee boy into the building to get us both all excited. Walked in to lots of posters and merchandise to buy. Staff at desk sheepishly said Lego is through there. Went around a partition expecting an exhibition hall with Lego movie scenes and... More

We recently visited the lego exhibition at the Motherwell heritage centre. We were extremely disappointed at poor size of the exhibition and were expecting a large room which was crammed full of lego however we were met by a small room containing a very dull, disappointing display. The only good exhibit was the forth road bridge which was half decent.... More

I may have missed large portions of the Lego exhibition which seems to have taken over the center. All I saw a large Forth Road Bridge in the children's play area. But - really - don't miss the view from the tower on a clear day. I could see all the way to the windows of my old house in... More

Just took my kids to your Lego Display as we got a very colourful and exciting looking leaflet. To be honest, we walked in and walked out 4 and a half minutes later. There was about 6 glass cabinets with little buildings and some cars my kids build better. A Large display of a section of the Forth Road bridge... More

Surprising amount of history in this part of Scotland but the centre was poor. Staff friendly enough but lacked knowledge.

farce, radio advert made it sound like movie scenes made of Lego, famous people/monuments etc, I went in hope of seeing Luke Skywalker/Indiana Jones, or some breath taking Golden Gate bridge display, I left feeling like a paper bag, for the first time in my life, ironically on 4/7, Kate Perry was right. Free, I still feel out of pocket... More

I'd like to see this place advertised more. Recently I saw a great exhibition of Andy Hay's paintings as well as the local history of Motherwell back to Roman times!! Local schoolchildren have contributed to the history exhibition and there are many items on display. All this and I nearly missed it due to a lack of publicity! Make a... More

this is a wonderfully interesting place but it was closed in parts recently. It is very handy for town centre and there is plenty parking close by. It is built on the site where the old Motherwell baths used to be and I swam there many years ago

This is a very strange set up indeed. It is supposed to be about local history and education of younger children ( I am guessing). There is one hall area open and on exhibit of a 1953 living room. With the wrong type of TV in it. The tower was shut, the Back shutters were also down so it was... More
