Logie Steading is a collection of stonefarm buildings that were given a new lease of life in 1991: they now house several individual businesses including Art Galleries, Antiques & Restoration, Secondhand Books, Textiles, Gifts, Heritage Centre and Cafe. Logie House Gardens are open throughout the year and there are walks along the River Findhorn - and there is a playpark! Lots to do and see.

Visited here earlier in the year and just had to go back again. All the shops here are full of high quality products and offerings. Amongst the selection of shops there is one selling second hand books, an art gallery, artisan products, a garden centre with shop and the Whisky and Gin shop must have the best selection for miles... Logie Steading is a great place to seek out lovely art, and artisan goods. There's a very interesting book shop, and whisky shop. You can also walk along the river Findhorn, the coffee shop is great for coffee and cake or a light lunch. Well worth a visit

Tucked away but easy to find. Great selection of wee shops and interesting goodies. Park for the kids also meant we could browse a bit longer.

This attraction is in an estate and the steading has been adapted into craft and art shops, a café which sells super light meals, home baking(the scones with jam and cream are particularly "toothsome") and teas coffees soft drinks etc. This place is not at all tacky as some tourist attractions are, but has been done with taste and elegance... Thank you so much for taking the time for writing a review and I am very sorry to hear that your visit was marred by unfriendly staff. that is very 'un-Logie' - and I hope you found a better welcome in the other businesses/shops - and we will certainly look into it. Thank you again for bothering to tell us... More

This whole setting is lovely and the specialist little shops within the Steading buildings are interesting, with genuinely interested owners, ready to chat and help. The Olive Tree cafe is just wonderful with delicious snacks and cakes - something for everyone without doubt! Yum!

Visited on recommendation of friends, and not disappointed. Went particularly for Art, and was impressed to see a gallery with artists very willing to discuss their work. Quality items for sale in the shops, original and imaginative. Craft work superb, much making excellent presents for all occasions and ages, and few mass produced goods. Whisky store owner offered good advice... More

Thank you for writing about your recent visit and yes we must think again about more benches along the walks. The really nice ones that we did have were thrown into the river by some hooligans; it is a shame when thoughtless vandalism spoils the place for the decent majority. However, we will persevere and come up with a 'hooligan-proof'... More

We've visited Logie Steading twice (all the way from Cornwall!) whilst visiting Scottish family. Go there on your next day off! It is such a beautiful, peaceful place. There are two lovely galleries, some great shops for present-hunting, a bookshop that bookworms can spend hours in and a cafe that is really clean, light and airy with really good, wholesome,... thanks you for writing about your long distance visit to Logie Steading. Sadly one of the galleries has closed but the upside is that the Whisky Shop is now moved into a MUCH bigger premises and so has even more on offer - certainly a silver lining to that particular cloud! More
