Logie Steading is a collection of stonefarm buildings that were given a new lease of life in 1991: they now house several individual businesses including Art Galleries, Antiques & Restoration, Secondhand Books, Textiles, Gifts, Heritage Centre and Cafe. Logie House Gardens are open throughout the year and there are walks along the River Findhorn - and there is a playpark! Lots to do and see.

This is a superb place to visit, the book shop is the best I have ever been in. I have never seen so many Nigel Tranter books on one shelf ever! The selection of collectible and out of print books are overwhelming. and the quality is second to none. a must place to visit if you are a book enthusiast... More

Logie Steading is on a quiet road near Forres in Moray, It is a privately-owned facility on a beautiful estate (lovely trees). There are lovely river walks of different lengths - half a mile up to two miles, approx. - a good playpark, an excellent garden centre offering plants, many of which are grown on the estate, a shop which sells,... I came on a local recommendation having no idea what a "logie steading" might be. Well, it was a great midday break. Art, whisky tasting, a delightful restaurant and no tour busses! Don't miss this.

We had a nice morning here and stayed for lunch. There is a small park and some shops which are worth a browse. For luch we had some sandwiches. I had a Chicken Ciabbata. It was nearly a tenner which is way too expensive. Tasted the same as a £3 sandwich.

Family outing. We enjoyed our visit to Logie Steading - there is just so much going on here. We browsed through the secondhand book shop and found some interesting books and bought some craft items from Diva Designs. There is a great art shop with some funny cards. Visited the play park and had a short walk by the river.... More

Thank you for taking the time to write about your recent visit to Logie and I am so glad that you enjoyed yourselves. Your Tip suggestion of wearing sturdy shoes for the river walk is such a good idea - something for us to look at for our website! Thank you! More

Visited Logie Steading again after a day out with the cameras in the snow and to try out the new Olive Tree cafe since its relocation across the courtyard. The new cafe is so much better than the old one and a piping hot bowl of soup and freshly made sandwich hit the spot. There is a great little collection... More

Thank you for taking the time to write about your wintery visit to Logie Steading. We have not been here for a few years but this is a lovely oasis for a lunch and a look around the surrounding shops. Make sure to take in the whiskey shop! Yes, we are all very sad that Giles Pearson is no longer running his antiques shop - he is still doing restoration, specialising in cane and rush seating, but there is no more rummaging and coming across a chance gem in his emporium. He will be sadly missed but time moves on! I am so glad you enjoyed a 'potter... More
