What a perfect visit , came today for the Christmas fayre and came away feeling very festive , 7 of us including 3 children thoroughly enjoyed the stalls , gorgeous ameretti fudge and handmade gifts all in the courtyard and shops of this beautiful setting , we then went into the olive tree for a coffee but the soup sounded... Thanks so much for taking the trouble to post a review. We are delighted that you had such a lovely time at our first ever Christmas Market, and it sounds like your family made the most of all the market, steading and walks had to offer too. We were so pleased to see so many families here enjoying - and... More

There are only a few shops at Logie Stteading however they are all worth visiting. The gallery had a lovely selection of art, the second hand book shop is worth browsing and the newish whisky and wine shop has a very interesting selection of spirits, including my new favourite of Edinburgh Gin flavoured with rhubarb and ginger! There is a... More

Many thanks for your review - yes, we are not very big but, as you discovered, the shops do have interesting and different things, the café serves yummy food, made on the premises. A wee bit of 'life in the slow lane'! More

We so enjoyed this place we came back within the week! First time we sampled whiskies and discovered some new ones, looked at the art on display and enjoyed a ramble along the river. We came back for an open air production of The Scottish Play with our picnic dinner and a nice bottle of wine from the shop, enjoyed... More

Logie Steading has been extensively extended and up graded over the past year but this has only added to an already excellent venue for a spot of tea after a walk through the grounds and woods to Randolf’s Leap or for a leisurely lunch with the family. An ‘order at the counter’ restaurant, it has a wide selection of delicious... More

We visited whilst on holiday in Moray, meeting up with some family - a mixed group of 4 adults and 2 teenagers. We all loved the bookshop and bought old maps, gardening books and printed music. The chap in the wine and whisky shop was fabulous - he let us try loads of samples and was very knowledgable. The best... More

We love hearing review and it is particularly pleasing when a group of people have come and really enjoyed so many different aspects of what Logie has to offer. The walks are spectacular so I do hope you manage to come back on a less blustery day! Thank you for taking the time to write. More

Visited this place the other day (4 adults, 1 toddler & 1 baby). Lovely setting and buildings look very picturesque. This place could be fantastic, no entry fee and several decent walks around the area, however it's when you come to part with your money that it is let down. Admittedly you don't have to, but if you do then... More

If you like books then you NEED to go here. It's like heaven. Best bookshop I've ever been to. They sell cheap second hand books but also collectors second hand books that are just beyond beautiful! Must see.

Thanks for your lovely review - I am sure that, one day, we will find someone has actually spent the night in the bookshop - It is a common occurrence for spouses to go missing in there! More

I visit Logie Steading regularly and have experienced it in all kinds of weather. The little shops and galleries have lots to offer and the walks are lovely. The bookshop is well worth a visit too! Diva Designs offer workshops regularly. They use the Olive Tree for lunch. The food is fab and always fresh. Perhaps the problem is the... More
