Logie Steading is a collection of stonefarm buildings that were given a new lease of life in 1991: they now house several individual businesses including Art Galleries, Antiques & Restoration, Secondhand Books, Textiles, Gifts, Heritage Centre and Cafe. Logie House Gardens are open throughout the year and there are walks along the River Findhorn - and there is a playpark! Lots to do and see.

Family outing. We enjoyed our visit to Logie Steading - there is just so much going on here. We browsed through the secondhand book shop and found some interesting books and bought some craft items from Diva Designs. There is a great art shop with some funny cards. Visited the play park and had a short walk by the river.... More

My good lady wife found this place and insisted that we should go... and I am glad that she did. It's a wee bit out if the way but well worth it. As there is nome nice walks but the river and a little play park for the kids. Also the friendly staff in the olive tree restaurant are great... More

Visited Logie Steading again after a day out with the cameras in the snow and to try out the new Olive Tree cafe since its relocation across the courtyard. The new cafe is so much better than the old one and a piping hot bowl of soup and freshly made sandwich hit the spot. There is a great little collection... More

Thank you for taking the time to write about your wintery visit to Logie Steading. Things have moved onwards and upwards since then - the Whisky and Wine shop is in bigger premises with lots more room to browse and sample. And a new business has just opened - Cairngorm Leaf and Bean - selling Tea and Coffee and associated... More

Only been here once for food but dont have anything bad to say, had soup and a sandwich, it was very tasty. Good portion size too. Good service from the staff, the only negative i would say is that there isnt much on the menu if you have kids with you or you are a bit fussy. This isnt a... More

We have not been here for a few years but this is a lovely oasis for a lunch and a look around the surrounding shops. Make sure to take in the whiskey shop! It's got loads of lovely brands of all kinds of alcohol for the beginner to the connoisseur and the friendly, helpful and knowledgeable owners will help you... More

Yes, we are all very sad that Giles Pearson is no longer running his antiques shop - he is still doing restoration, specialising in cane and rush seating, but there is no more rummaging and coming across a chance gem in his emporium. He will be sadly missed but time moves on! I am so glad you enjoyed a 'potter... More

Second visit to this wonderful attraction. Was here in the Autumn last year and again, still open in mid winter. Lovely shops with special gifts at various prices. The food and surrounds made the visit special, perhaps a little more expensive but well worth it. Alain some more exotic specials alongside Scottish fayre On the menu

My family and I have loved Logie steading since coming to live in the area several years ago. The river walks are stunning .There are some very steep paths on the way down to the river ,although there ARE flatter paths and they are well marked. We loved the old cafe before it moved to it's present position and had... More

Thank you so much for writing a review - and being so generous in explaining your change of mind about the café. We are so aware that there was a bumpy start to the season in the café. However, Gill and Weller and their brilliant team have worked really hard to make the larger premises work for everyone, and are... More
