I always enjoy a trip to Logie Steading, the children enjoy the park and seeing the chickens and cows and I am always sure to find a good book in the bookshop. Lovely, friendly staff. Had sandwiches in the cafe recently and they were delicious. Definitely recommend.

Thank you for your kind review - it is lovely to hear that you all enjoyed yourselves and, of course, no trip to Logie is complete without losing yourself in amongst all the hundreds of books in Helen's Bookshop! Taking the trouble to write is much appreciated by the Logie team. More

This is a beautiful place to visit set in stunning landscape. It is tranquil and inviting. Everyone has time to spend talking with you. The cafe has delectable foods to offer, and the book store will whisk you back in time. The art gallery is just stunning, with plenty of choice and art to tempt all tastes. the whiskey store... More

Paid Logie Steading a visit today and have to say was completely disappointed. We decided to have a nice day out as a family having a walk down the River Nairn first and choosing to have lunch at the Logie Steading as had heard lots about this place but had never been. Arrived just after 1pm to a packed Olive... More

I am really sorry you had an unsatisfactory visit to Logie Steading over the weekend. During the good weather we are able to accommodate many more people using the outside tables but the wet weather has meant that we are limited to the indoor tables and when we are full, I am afraid we are full! However, we are looking... More

They had a good queuing system in operation; now it is a mess. We waited in a queue for 25 minutes (they aren't quick at serving) then we realised we didn't have a table because others are coming in and claiming a table before joining the queue. When we got a tag for a table after being served there was... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a report of your recent visit to Logie and I am sorry your visit did not come up to expectation. I think you might have been here on Sunday when it was, as usual for a weekend, extremely busy, made even more so by the pouring rain meaning that the outside tables... More

It's been a while since I visited Logie, so went there with my Wife and our 9 year old Daughter. It was easy enough to find, just off the main road between Grantown on Spey and Forres. Beautiful driveway up to the Steading, and easy and plentiful car parking. We had lunch in the Café first. Nothing too complicated, just... More

My parents in law had found this place and recommended we should all go for a trip out. Its a bit off the beaten tracks but if you follow signs for Granton-of-spey from Forres you will find it. Found a lovely cafe and group of shops to wander around formed in a square. We had tea, homemade soup, sandwiches and... More

I'm over from Australia and had my 3rd visit in 7 years to Logie Steading. It is usually high on my 'to do ' list when I visit. There have been marked upgrades this time. Shops have been moved and the cafe has been substantially extended. We had a delicious lunch. I had Caramelised onion and goat cheese tart. My... More

This was our first visit since last year and there have been a few changes. The shops have grown in size and have been moved around quite a bit. We enjoyed spending time in the art gallery and the garden and other shops and were going to visit the coffee shop but were put off by the prices which were... More

This is a great place to spend a few hours. Its recently beeen altered and upgraded and although it was great before it really has upped its game. The house has some lovely gardens, well worth a gentle walk round. Nearby are longhorn cattle grazing and when we went they had some lovely calves. The plant nursery has those plants... More
