Quick visit with pre school daughter. Nice slow walk with butterflies flying all around, stick insects out and about too. Also has a small reptile section, with a nocturnal section with snakes, scorpions etc. We seen the bearded dragon feeding, even got to stroke one of them. A few tanks with fish, turtles in them too. Really enjoyed my visit.

We visited with our two-year old granddaughter. She loved it. There are loads of butterflies in the main area. There are also fish, an ant colony and numerous insects including some amazing stick insects. Children can feed the fish. At noon, there was a snake, reptile and spider encounter. Our granddaughter held and handled snakes, centipedes and a large spider.... More

I hadn't been since my own childhood and was curious to see if I enjoyed it as much as an adult, and if my kids liked it. I was not disappointed, the children loved the place, my pre-schooler couldn't stop smiling.

Paying a lot of money to walk through a greenhouse with butterflies, some ponds with fish and terrapins. They have moved the leaf cutter ant colony to an area which they can't control so the ants are moving to their own area resulting in ants marching beside walkways where young kids could get bitten by soldier ants. Staff were hosing... More

We visited the Butterfly and Insect world 20yrs ago and we were just as fascinated by the experience again this time. The staff are very knowledgeable and keen to let you make the most of the experience. They encourage you to interact with the insects. The butterflies are simply beautiful

Best little trip ever!! Mesmerising and magical with the butterflies flying around. 12pm, 2pm & 3pm they have interactive animal session - which are very informative! One of the staff members in particular, Kevin spends his while time talking to the customers & filling us full with great facts! My daughter loved it! Definitely a must for your little animal... First time I bought Groupon to get there and we were lucky- anaconda was fed with rats and boy that was a view! It does not happen a lot because snakes eat once a month (unlike people :-) Butterflies are very pretty but it is variable what species you can see there, depending on the time of the year. However... More
