We have had a lovely time in the small tropical world full of butterflies and some little birds! It said on the website, that they have over 30 types of butterflies and moths, and with our inexpert eye, we found and recognized around 25 different species! Had a nice walk through reptile room, and saw some pretty impressive beehives! Staff... More

This was a great place to go with kids. Mine aged between 16-4 years and all really enjoyed themselves. It was great walking round with the butterflies flying about you and sometimes landing on you. We got some brilliant photos as some of the butterflies are amazing. Once youve paid and had your hand stamped you can pop in and... More

The kids have been with grandparents a couple of times but I'd never visited,so seeing as the weather was changeable on a Saturday in August I suggested we go. As I said I'd never been so the almost £25 pound family entry and the £1 "guide book" it certainly ain't a book or even a pamphlet come to think of... More

The butterfly kingdom is well kept and the staff are really nice! We got to see the lizards being fed while we were there... Hilarious seeing the lizards following the keepers for food! I thought it was a little overpriced for what it was at £7.50 per adult!

Well it was nice to visit, but not worth the price. Better to visit zoo (if interested into animals) or botanical gardens (if interested into nature and plants there). We spend half an hour inside and made 3 circles...

On a grey day, I paid 35 pounds for 1 adult and 5 children (aged 3-10), and we struggled to eke out an entire hour--we spent more time at the free playground. I think the reviewers who say there are barely any butterflies are being unfair--there are many & we were interested in the displays. The problem is that there... More

Just back from a great day out here. I was a bit sceptical after reading the most recent reviews however myself and my 3 year old daughter were delighted with our visit. There were dozens of butterflies to see of all sizes and lots of little extras that I wasn't expecting including a fabulous colony of ants that march through... More

Our family all had a great day here. It was poring outside so it was perfect to spend an hour or two in here. Thought it was a little pricey, £20.50 for 2 adults and 1 child but we all loved it so can't complain. We all got some lovely pictures of butterfly's which was good, overall it was a... More

Always wanted to go and had a vision of 100's of butterfly's going about with a lovely gift shop full of butterfly things! But no!! Total waste of time and effort to find the place.. Total waste of money - hugely overpriced and have seen better in my garden - maybe saw about 10 butterfly's in a small hot house... More
