Thank you Dawn for making this such a great day :) I'm not the most experienced rider but the two hour ride gave me opportunities to walk, trot and canter with the route being up a hill with stunning views, then along the beach and in the sea. With it being a small group, it stretched me and I learned... More

I had a super 2 hour ride with Dawn and a lovely horse called Katie. Beautiful scenery and a lovely route finished off with a gallop along the beach - Perfect!

I had an amazing time - I went on the 2-hour hack two days in a row. Dawn was so warm, friendly and knowledgeable, while also inspiring immediate respect, confidence and admiration. The horses were clearly very well taken care of, which always makes me so happy. I've had showjumping lessons but not much experience with outdoor riding, and the... More

A friend and I booked to go riding at the stables, and had a brilliant time. I was nervous as the last time I'd ridden (not on Arran), I'd had a really bad experience, but Dawn was absolutely brilliant. The group was of mixed ability and ages (included a lovely 6 year old and a disabled gentleman who rides at... More

My boyfriend and I went for a 2 hour hack, with Dawn and another girl. As I am a fairly inexperienced rider, Dawn was only too happy to give me pointers which was really helpful. I walked and trotted throughout the hack, while the other two (more experienced) riders were given more than one opportunity to canter, which they thoroughly... More

Our two boys, 5 and 7, had a memorable ride along the stunning beach at Blackwaterfoot with expert, kind and fun guidance. As novice riders, they are still talking about the trot and their ponies Owen and Lucy. Gentle, laidback ponies and all that they learnt from Dawn made this one of their best days ever.

We've been to Blackwaterfoot a lot and the children have loved the first (and subsequent) goes on horses having not riden before. Dawn inspiries confidence all round - for the both the kids and the parents. Our older (16 at the time) neice did a longer ride - she has done a fair bit of riding and said it was... More

My kids aged 5 and 7 have not been riding before but wanted to do a short pony trek. We were very impressed with this, pony trekking along the beach is not something they would normally get to do. Thank you so much for the experience.

We took our children on the 10am morning hack. It was £22 each which covered the loan of riding hats and boots. They had a lovely hours ride along the beach and the parents were able to walk behind. The horses were very friendly, well schooled and in great health. The staff were helpful and enthusiastic. We will be back... More
