I have always been a Jack Daniels Fan and had always attempted (along with friends) to sample copious amounts and as many varieties as possible. However, I was truly astounded at how fascinating the distillery was and the guide really knew what she was talking about. We went into Lynchburg and had some Lunch after and can say it was... more

I was completely shocked at the this tour. It was much more organized, informative, interactive than I had imagined. Jon, our tour guide was very friendly and filled us in on lots of interesting facts. The tour was free and pictures were allowed. This really was a first class operation. I have never had a sip of whisky before in... more

I went to the Jack Daniels Distillery on December 10, 2008 with my mother and my son and we thoroughly enjoyed the visit! The main building is just beautiful and full of history and it is surrounded by trees and a running brook in the front. Just the views alone were worth being there. The tour was free and was... more

We visited the distillery on a Friday afternoon. It was a 70 mile trip (1 hour, 24 minutes) from our Nashville Hotel to the area. Once you drive past Shelbyville, the countryside is breathtaking and absolutely gorgeous – very well worth the effort. I do not drink and was not sure if the tour would glorify drinking, partying, etc. It... more

We toured on a Saturday , early afternoon. There were a lot of people visiting, but we picked up our tour number and didn't have to wait very long. We enjoyed the tour--although we are non-drinkers, it was very informative and our tour guide, Travis, was great--really knowledgable about the process and was very funny. I guess I had forgotten... more

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Having been on many winery tours, we thought this would be your typical "schlepp through with 100 other people". No way! It was the most organized tour attraction we've ever been through. Others have described the routine, so I won't repeat here. But it's hard to believe Jack Daniels does this so well and FOR... more

It is a great place to visit, whether you drink Jack or not. It is a piece of history and Americana. The tour was a lot of fun and we enjoyed walking around the town square. more

Not only was this tour amazing...but it was free too! When you first enter (parking is free), you walk up to the information desk and they give you a tour number. We all signed the registry and walked around the lobby (which is filled w/memorbillia) for about 10 minutes. There is a lot of walking on this tour, but the... more

My husband and I took the first tour on Sat. AM before Easter. Staff was sooo nice and informative. Marge was a hoot. The tour was long but I could have toured longer. Less going on since it was the weekend and a holiday. I don't drink Jack, but I wanted to after that tour. Too bad you can't. We... more

Been on a couple brewery tours so decided to take this tour when we were in the area. Actually had a bit of a tough time finding it, but the tour was informative. Learned alot of info and bought some cool gifts. Tour is interesting for people of all ages (except probably of course <10-12). Only thing that was disappointing... more
