The name says it all! The history, the manufacturing, the ambiance and the sampling (unfortunately, I didn't get a chance). I cannot begin to tell you that this place is a definite must visit. The guided tour alone is worth the trip. Smelling the stages of distilling is worth the trip. The gift shop alone is worth the trip! If... More

This is a great way to learn and see how whiskey is made. Very educational and fun, our guide was a great person, funny and provided our group with many historical events and facts. This attraction is "must to see" if you around or passing by. There is 2 types of tour that is offered, one is totally free and... More

We drove from Nashville and did the sampling tour. Our tour guide was Jason and is also a member of the Fire Brigade also. He was very knowledgeable and also came with a sense of humor. You can really see the employees passion who work there for the Jack Daniels Brand. The regular tour is free but the tasting tour... More

Even if you're not a whiskey drinker, you will enjoy this tour. Very knowledgeable tour guide (Ben); we found out later that it was only his 2nd day to guide solo. Along with the whiskey making process, you also learn some things about the area and Jack. Well worth the time! No cost for the regular tour, if you want... More

I took the sampling tour with friends of ours - three couples. This was part of our Nashville birthday get together and we really enjoyed it. The ride was a bit long from Nashville but worth it. Our tour guide - Brandie - did a great job and added some of her local flavor to the experience. The tasting at... More

Well worth the drive from Nashville. We appreciate good whiskey and it was such a treat to visit the distillery and Lynchburg. Our guide, Brandi, on the tasting tour was awesome! She knew her stuff, had a great sense of humor and represented the brand in a fun and professional manner. The setting is spectacular and the Visitor Center has... More

We had a great time on the distillery's tasting tour. Our tour guide, Brandi, was fun and informative. The buildings and grounds were lovely. Not a whiskey drinker, but enjoyed sampling their product. The tour was worth the drive to this lovely town.

Friendly folks. Excellent tour. Interesting story about the man himself. Nice southern downtown area in Lynchburg for shopping for JD merchandise. But, no booze, it's a dry county.

MUST SEE! Lynchburg is a great roadtrip destination. The Jack Daniel's Distillery tour is (free) very good and the tour guides are a lot of fun. If you like history or just like whiskey, this is a great tour! After touring the distillery, take a short walk to Lynchburg's town square for shopping and lunch. If you want to stay... More
