I was so happy to hear that the tour here was free. You can pay a fee for a tasting tour but everyone in your party must be over 21. It is a dry county so you can't buy the regular stuff but you can get your hands on some cool (and pricey) commemorative bottles and for a small fee... More

We took a tour of the Jack Daniels Distillery. Ironically, it's in a DRY COUNTY, so we weren't able to taste any of it. Nevertheless our guide COURTNEY WEST was outstanding.....charming, knowledgeable and knew her stuff. You walk around with your group and learn about the history of Jack Daniels (the man and the whiskey), how it is made, how... More

We had visiting family and they wanted to visit the Distillery. The changes over the years were amazing. The new Reception Building was absolutely beautiful, the tours were organized quickly and the tour guides were very knowledgable. The tasting experience was fun and delicious and led to our group purchasing a good number of that excellent golden whiskey. We had... More

Me and my family spent about 4 hours there it was enough to understand the processes and how this flavored liquid is made. First of all the reception and the structure is impressive, passing trough the tour it is very well prepared. The guides are specialist in this subject, they pass the history and the details very well. At the... More

Unfortunately the day we toured it was about 20 degrees. That said the tour was very informative and worth the time spent in the cold. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and a great guy which made it even more enjoyable. The tasting was fun even though my husband is the JD guy. Definitely warmed us up on a cold... More

The history of Jack Daniels was cool. It is amazing to me that so much whiskey can be made in such a small place. Lynchburg is such a small and quaint little town. We did the tasting tour that lasted 1 hour 45 minutes and it was filled with a lot of interesting information. I'd definitely recommend it!

We reserved our tour and tasting tickets in advance. Was pleasantly surprised when informed retired teacher led non-tasting tour so our 9 and 11 year old could go on that tour while we went on tasting tour without worry. Wonderful people and atmosphere and so fun to learn about the distillery process. Lots of great souvenirs to purchase at the... More

We made a detour from just to check the Distillery and We made a very good decision. We took the tour of the distillery including the wine tasting. The tour was well organized and the place was well maintained. We learned a lot from the tour and were able to visit a lot of the departments in the property. When... More

Our family, including 2 teenaged girls, did the tour today and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our tour guide, Betty, was a total blast - very entertaining and informative throughout!! The tour was free and very well organised. We had driven 1 1/2 hrs from our Nashville hotel to do this and it was well worth it - a lovely drive.... More

We had done the Bourbon Tour last year and wanted to see how different JD is made. We signed up and opted for the 'tasting tour' which will cost you $10 and you get to sample 3 kinds when you are done with the informative tour! Plan about 2 hours for the tour. Our guide Wes was wonderful and a... More
