This was my husbands "thing" on our Tennessee vacation; I wasn't totally thrilled we were going. But I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! I knew nothing about Jack Daniels before this visit and it was great to learn about Jack Daniels the man, the history of the distillery, and the distilling process. Plus the site is absolutely beautiful... More

This is in the backwoods to be sure, but it is a lovely setting with a very nice visitor's center and tour program. The history of the distillery and the process are all very interesting. Despite it being in a dry county, you can buy exclusive whiskies in their store.

I've toured the Jack Daniel's Distillery twice and wouldn't mind doing it again. The history behind Jack Daniel's is presented in a very informative manner with very knowledgable guides. The aroma in the air is awesome. I became a Jack Daniel's Single Barrel fan after my first visit. The distillery is nestled in a valley in the neat little town... More

Hobos and Billionaires have one love in common - Jack Daniel's whiskey. Your tour begins in the visitor's center. It actually contains a fairly complete history of Jack Daniel's whiskey by itself. But the tour is not to be missed. There are two tours you can go on: 1. The standard FREE tour. 2. The $10.00 Tasting Tour. According to... More

I love Jack Daniels and the tour was awesome!! Learned so much and the guide was great. The smell in the air is amazing and makes you want to never leave. Tasting tour is best option; its longer and you get to sample three kinds of Jack. My wife isnt a whiskey drinker but she loved the tour. Should be... More

I knew little about Jack Daniels (apart from the name) - before this tour but our guide was excellent and the distillery tour lasted 1hr 45 mins, with tasting at the end. You get an ounce of whisky split into three, with tastings of Gentleman Jack, no 7 and Single Barrel. The good news is that you are within driving... More

Our tour guide was Josh and he was very informative and hilarious. You can buy a bottle of JD Single Barrel, or Gentleman Jack and get it laser-engraved too. The tour itself was one of the best I've ever been on, and I've been to Alcatraz! Get the sample tour for $10 - it's worth it!

Took the tasting tour yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our tour guide was Leslie, and she was great. Very informative and entertaining at the same time. Not for anyone who doesn't like walking or climbing stairs. It was neat to find out the fundamental process has not changed over the years and neither has the ties between the town and... More

Visited a few years ago and loved the tour, so had to return. This time we did a tasting tour! Remember, this is a "dry" county. The tour takes you through the entire process of making Jack Daniels, except the making of the barrels, which is done in Kentucky. Lynchburg is out of the way, but this tour is well... More
