Food selection poor pre-packed sandwiches and baguettes meal of the day quiche and side salad but none left jist unappetising tired pies and sausage rolls. We... More

On the way up to see Santa it's beautifully decorated which made the kids very excited with Santa sleigh, great photo... More

Having taken advantage of a 'National Trust Membership' while driving my parents through the UK, I thought we might have been sick of stately homes and historical properties, but we decided to squeeze one last one in - and it was worth it. Dumfries house is a family favorite of ours. This year they added a water/ sand area, which our boys love. (8,6 & 3) . There is also a great play area, cafe and plenty of walks.

A brilliant day out so much to see. House has been rather over restored, but is still worth a visit. Lovely grounds, good cafe and shop.
