Lovely place. Plenty of parking, a bit mucky though. Lovely welcoming staff, attentive to adults & children alike. Explained Easter bunny hunt, sold us seeds to feed the birds. Lots and lots of birds, plenty of viewing areas and great play park. Would recommend for families with small children & will return.

The prices in the cafe are ridiculous.over 2 pounds for a caramel square.there are 4 of us so ends up Costing about 20 pounds for not every much it actually puts me off going.

Terrible value for money. £24 for family entrance and bird feed. Basically a brisk walk around some ponds. You could see any of the 'wild life' at most coastal locations for free. Lots of ducks and little else. Has to be one of the worst attractions in Northern Ireland.

Just a short distance from Comber.Lots of free parking.A very good visitors centre with a well stocked café.If you want to see waterfowl there is nowhere better place to visit. There are a variety of walks and there is often a special display of local crafts etc in the visitor centre. Why not combine a visit to Castle Espie with a visit... We usually visit about once a year. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It's lovely to feed the ducks and geese before going through to the wilder areas of the site. My niece is 6 and really loved the woodland play area as well. We were a little early in the year for the ducklings - she would've loved... More

Went on St Patricks days 2015, there was "find the leprechaun" challenge, but these were just posters stuck to walls and fences, there were a few snakes on display, but other than that no other st patricks day reference, no signs, no shamrock, no decorations, very little effort went into it. Place was very busy despite the disappointing effort at... More

We didn't really know what to expect and were delighted with what we found. A visit here really needs several hours to do justice to it, especially if accompanied by children - they'd love it. After duck-spotting from the restaurant over coffee, we spent a couple of hours wandering around the different hides before retiring back to the restaurant for... More

We love Castle Espie. We are members and regularly visit. Its never the same. Love watching seasons change and see which feathery friends are there. Its brilliant for my daughter she loves it. The park is great hours of happy play. If you visit several times a year it pays to be a member.

OK - apologies for the terrible title. Although we've been hee a number of times - I've never bothered with a review. We love going for a walk here, and our daughter loves feeding the ducks. We normally use the PERKS card (buy one entry get one free) which makes it even better, and under 4's are free! On arrival... More

I've bee to Castle Espie many times. It's easy to fin as the brown signs are well positioned. At the site there is a good quality cafe but you are also allowed to take a picnik too. There is a soft play area and lots of opportunity to learn while having fun. There are good walks with plenty of interesting... More
