I've bee to Castle Espie many times. It's easy to fin as the brown signs are well positioned. At the site there is a good quality cafe but you are also allowed to take a picnik too. There is a soft play area and lots of opportunity to learn while having fun. There are good walks with plenty of interesting... More

Staff very helpful and polite. Great buzz around the duck ponds with some ducklings on parade ! Nice walks and good play area for children .. My only comment for improvement would be the coffee.

Wife and I went for Halloween festival with 14 month old daughter. Really nice setting, closer than you think coming from Craigavon direction. Great for kids and adults, can feed the ducks with seed bought at reception (75p), wee one loved it! Everytng really accessible, ramps etc. Storytime with the Cat in the Hat was brilliant!! Think i enjoyed it... More

had a great day lots to do maybe had to queue for things like face painting and crafts but it was all part of the fun , kids had a ball and the weather stayed mild don't think it would have been to much fun if it was raining , it was a bit much asking for more money for... More

Visited over half term with kids as advertised as 'Spellbound Festival'. Extremely disappointed-beast trail rather uninspiring for kids. 1 owl on display, craft activities= make a pipe cleaner spider at £1 pound each! Also as there were zero birds on display on the lough you would have thought the organisers could have at least decorated the hides or tried to... More

Went here last sunday for a walk with my girlfriend. The weather was good and the walk was really nice. We also got seeds to feed the ducks! All in all a lovely day! Will definitely return!

A great place for people of all ages. A lot of ducks and geese of different varieties crowding round to be fed. There is a woodland play area for children, as well as a round house and area about neolithic and mesolithic people who lived here. There is information about the limekilns, brickworks and pottery that functioned here in the... More

One of my favourite haunts after having a stressful day, so I am making the most out of my membership. Being able to feed the pampered and expectant birds is an enjoyable part of the visit, a lot of them are confident enough to eat seed from the palm of your hand. There's always an updated board of information in... More

Honestly a great day out. We we're lucky and got a relatively nice day for it. We got the student entry at £5.50 and then bird seed was very cheap at 50p. The ducks at the begining was brilliant and ate right out of your hand ! It was very clean with wipes provided and hand sanitiser every where :)... More
