The folk who set this place up to rescue apes from around the world have done a great job. Everyone should go here to support their effort & have a really fun day out. The different play areas & huge climbing frames will keep all the children entertained for ages. Good work! PS the restaurant food is very good -... More

I have been here on two occasions, this review is based mainly on my most recent. We fancied a day out, so where better than Monkey World! We have seen this park on TV many times, and been before, so we decided to pay it a visit. On arrival, there is a massive, free car-park. Service at the entrance gate... More

Excellent day out for anyone with even a passing interest in monkeys or apes or cute furry animals generally. The grounds are lovely & the facilities good but the animals themselves provide all the entertainment you could need. Fascinating information boards really give a personality to the animals, particularly the chimpanzies. A really worthwhile venture as the monkeys & apes... More

At £36 for two OAPs, two children of 4 and 6 years old and a guide book, this is by no means a cheap attraction and we were surprised and disappointed at the absence of monkeys to be seen in most of the enclosures. No doubt it was early afternoon post-feeding nap time, but nonetheless a poor show. Our two... More

Luckily used SatNav to get here. Thought local Road Signage to MW was not good. Nice large Free Car Park. Family wanted to come here - I didn't. Couldn't find any 'money-off' vouchers so I was pleased to find that everyone was paying the same entrance price. Always annoys me when someone in front has a 50% off voucher and... More

This is our second visit after several years absence. On our original visit we were both able bodied, we are currently disabled, but this did not spoil our visit as we booked two scooters some weeks before our visit, which incidently are free of charge. Monkey World are excellent conservationists putting the animals welfare first and foremost and doing an... More

I was a bit reluctant to visit, but the family wanted to go, and once in I enjoyed it. Great spot, great for kids and really nice to get quite near to the furry things. Informative talk by staff about gibbons. Would visit again.

We took a trip to see monkey world after seeing it many times on TV. The entrance fee is reasonable and there are lots of play areas and picnic areas within the grounds but they are the only real plus points I noted. Many of the monkeys looked sad and depressed, curled up in their homes. The enclosures are large... More

I've been before but I just had to go again as we all love it there. We decided to go and the weather wasn't good as it poured down for about an hour but as it was around lunchtime we sat in the cafe and had lunch. Some may find it over priced but I thought it was reasonably priced... More
