Visited Monkey World twice during a weeks holiday at Easter 2009, although have been loads of times before. It is an amazing place and we happily spent all day there- no children in our party this time either! The primates are fascinating- and if you've watched "Monkey Life" on tv, it is even better as you recognise the personalities from... more

Having visited Monkey World early June. The first thing to note is that the car park is free which is unusual nowadays they have plenty of admission booths so you really are not waiting for that long a nice and relaxing stroll along the winding paths coming to each monkey house. There a not many places to have a seat... more

My daughters and I recently visited Monkey World. My youngest daughter watches the programme on T.V. all the time and had wanted to go for some time. I think that the entrance fee is very reasonable. We all found it lovely to see the Monkeys and orangutans that we have seen on T.V. in the flesh. We all could have... more

This is a wonderful way to spend three or four hours - the entrance charge is very reasonable given the huge amount of staff and feeding the animals require, and the cause is extremely noble. The animals have very large enclosures to play in which have been well made, with a healthy use of timber and plenty of things to... more

I have been to Monkey world several times now & have the most amazing day out each time. I think that it's fantatsic value for money - 2 adults, 2 kids for £31. Considering we were in there form 10 - 5pm I think this is brilliant value for money. The enclosures are easy to view & although the centre... more

myself my wife and 3 sons aged 19 17 and 10 all went to monkey world yesterday (easter sunday). The cost was £49.25p, pretty steep in these uncertain times. The one thing that struck me immediately was how far the enclosures were away from sightseers, also it is pot luck if you actually see any monkeys outside . There are... more

We've wanted to come here for a very long time, and we weren't disappointed. Admission, food & drink prices are reasonable and the whole place is totally geared towards families. We were really touched at the thought that had gone into the abundance of picnic and play areas all over the park. Everything is within reach for those of us... more

I couldnt believe someones earlier review that said 'Monkeys come first', this is a monkey rescue centre not a circus !!! We had an amazing day out here, the monkeys do as they please and they can get away from prying eyes if they want but its pot luck and you have to remember its foremost a rescue centre they... more

What a really fantastic place! I visited with 3 friends last Saturday - we spent 5 hours there and I could have stayed all weekend! I was surprised at how many adults were there without kids. I adopted a baby orangutan for £30 and received a picture, brochure, certificate and free entry for 1 year - only down side is... more
