My boyfriend and I went to MW and had a fantastic time! I highly suggest arriving early because the car park fills quickly. All of the concessions were reasonably priced (much cheaper than theme parks). The whole trip was magical for me because I'd watched the television documentary series so I felt like I knew most of the history and... More

We have visited monkey world twice. The first time was in October, a rainy cold day. There were only a few monkeys we could see so we put it down to the weather. The second visit was last August and still we didnt see many monkeys! It certainly isnt as interesting as the TV program. I appreciate the good work... More

These people do a fantastic job rescuing the apes and monkeys from all the evil people in the world. The guided tours are very good and very moving, hearing the stories of how they ended up in this place is heart breaking. So worth the visit even if it is to educate someone about the cruelties that occur in this... More

This is a great place for everyone to visit- loads to see and do for everyone- even if you arent interested in the monkeys, you will be by the end of it. The keepers talks are fantastic and informative and there is so much to see including the brick walk way, all the enclosures and packs as well as the... More

Visited Monkey World on a Thursday in December. Absolutely loved every minute of our private tour with a wonderful knowledgeable guide (thanks Bob). The park was quiet and it was amazing to see many of the monkeys we had come to know and love from the tv series. We enjoyed a snack and hot chocolate in the restaurant area which... More

My husband and I decided to go along as the weather was dry and warm and it had been many years since we last went. The entrance fee was £11.25 each adult and £1.00 for a guide book. and this was excellent value for money. We arrived just before 12 noon and found that the talks started at 12.30 so... More

Watched the series on TV and was really looking forward to visiting the centre. I loved it! What an honour to see these beautiful creatures, Gordon is fantastic. The staff seemed caring and knowledgeable, had a photo taken with the lovely Jeremy, best £8 I have ever spent. It is such a pleasure to know that a lot of the... More

Disabled so booked a buggy. Needs deposit. Big place so needs a whole day. Weekdays much quieter. Keepers talks excellent. Food was good and surprisingly reasonable for this type of place where its usually overpriced. Not so here. Reasonable choice too. All in all a good day out.Amazing work they do.

A place devoted to monkey welfare. They clearly do it well and take in monkeys of all sorts from home and abroad. Missed the lemurs as some confusion over when their enclosure shut but overall an enjoyable day.
