Disabled so booked a buggy. Needs deposit. Big place so needs a whole day. Weekdays much quieter. Keepers talks excellent. Food was good and surprisingly reasonable for this type of place where its usually overpriced. Not so here. Reasonable choice too. All in all a good day out.Amazing work they do.

A place devoted to monkey welfare. They clearly do it well and take in monkeys of all sorts from home and abroad. Missed the lemurs as some confusion over when their enclosure shut but overall an enjoyable day.

This was an amazing experience if you like monkeys then this is for you. Some of the stories that are written on the cages are heartbreaking but when you see the monkeys you can see they are very happy to be there.

This is really a rehabilitation project for monkeys and apes that have been mistreated or exploited in some way in many countries. There is a great deal to see and the information boards and guidebook are very informative. Good play areas for children. However,I felt that the number of toilets and food outlets was inadequate for the numbers visiting the... More

I've been several times over the years and every time I go it gets better. The entrance fee is a little steep, but then again it's going to a great cause. You have to remember that you're hard earned cash is helping the team improve the lives of primates who would otherwise most likely spend the rest of their day's... More

Our 3rd visit, our last was about 7 years ago. Lots of improvements in that time. cafe is better, more monkey areas. Just a lovely place that does amazing things. Fantastic admission prices. We went on a dull, slightly wet day so wasn't busy.

I have to say this is one of the places we visit every year with our 7 year old and we always visit to renew our adoption of a monkey. As always we loved seeing the monkeys although this time the weather was awful and quite rightly the monkeys stayed inside. Just one observation, there is an awful lot of... More

I went to Monkey World as I wanted to see what difference had been made since my last visit. I have been to Monkey World several times & each time enjoy it as the various rescue monkeys now have a good life.
