Monkey world is brilliant!! Way better than the zoo. The monkey are so happy and entertaining! They do the most amazing things! It is such good value. It is not a sophisicated zoo so not very well organised but it really is lots of fun. You could spend hours watching the various antics and it really is heart warming to... more

We visited Monkey World last wkend and thought it was a lot smaller then we had imagined however seeing all the chimps etc all thoughts of size drifted away. I especially liked it when the chimps and orangutans came upto the window and made faces at you . The only downside to this is if you want to take pictures... more

We visited this place in 2008 and I would just like to remind visitors that the monkeys dont like the rain any more than we do. If the car park was anything to go by people visit places like this when the weather doesn't allow for the beach. We arrived and by 11am the place was packed with brightly coloured... more

Went there on a day out with a coach of elderly people, (August 09) most of them had wheelchairs, it was very difficult to push the wheelchairs, noted that another comment said the car park was free, (so it should be if you are paying for entry) entry prices were quite reasonable, carers free pushing wheelchairs. Very hilly, extreemly difficult... more

Wonderful! Fantastic place for adults and kids, the monkeys are well looked after and certainly put a show on for you. You will fail not to be amused at their antics, absolutely brilliant. All areas of Monkey World are very clean, there are two designated smoking areas, which was great, but remember to take your cigarettes with you, a fair... more

Visited Monkey World twice during a weeks holiday at Easter 2009, although have been loads of times before. It is an amazing place and we happily spent all day there- no children in our party this time either! The primates are fascinating- and if you've watched "Monkey Life" on tv, it is even better as you recognise the personalities from... more

Having visited Monkey World early June. The first thing to note is that the car park is free which is unusual nowadays they have plenty of admission booths so you really are not waiting for that long a nice and relaxing stroll along the winding paths coming to each monkey house. There a not many places to have a seat... more

My daughters and I recently visited Monkey World. My youngest daughter watches the programme on T.V. all the time and had wanted to go for some time. I think that the entrance fee is very reasonable. We all found it lovely to see the Monkeys and orangutans that we have seen on T.V. in the flesh. We all could have... more
