I have been to monkey world 3 years in a row, and the work everyone does there is something beyond fantastic, it's a rescue and rehabilitation centre, and everyone's is so dedicated in making these rescued primates feel settled in as near a natural habitat as possible. The park is spotlessly clean, great little cafe, suitable for all ages to... More

We actually now visit Monkey World 4+ times per year as we love the place so much. We first became interesting after watching the Monkey Life series on Animal Planet. From the first visit we were made to feel really welcome and the staff are all happy to chat and answer questions. The experience is like no other, there are... More

Visited here with grand daughter while on holiday in dorset . What a fabulous place . We all learnt so much and were thoroughly entertained by some of the antics of the monkeys. Very informative talks by the keepers and wonderfull to be able to walk in the enclosure with the adorable lemurs. The great ape play area was a great... More

Great to see all the hard work the team are doing to rescue these lovely animals pay off. Prices are fair throughout and great for kids with plenty of play areas.

We went to Monkey World this week with our four children aged 7, 8, 12 and 15. We have been before so knew what to expect. The site is well set out and easy to navigate. The gift shop is well stocked and surprising reasonable prices. There is a fantastic huge play area towards the bottom of the park set... More

Visited for the first time with family - including grandsons aged 6 & 11. We loved it!! Huge well maintIned enclosures, with amazing climbing structures for the primates. So much to see and the open enclosures make the animals and visitors feel as though you are in their natural habitat. It is so far removed from the blinkered perception of... More

I loved this place so much! The stories about some of the primates rescued breaks your heart but when you see how they have been rehabilitated its marvellous. Well done Alison, Jeremy and all the team. Wonderful setting, beautiful weather, entertaining animals, (especially Mikado and Rodders) great food and ice cream (although they could do with more staff in the... More

We went because the weather was changeable. It was really interesting to watch the monkeys. I really liked the woolly monkeys. The keeper's talk was really informative and we could tell that she cared and enjoyed her job. A good day out for everyone.
