My first visit was about 2 years ago....I've since visited twice more and im going again next month. What a wonderful place. If your expecting glitz and glamour or funfair rides alongside the animals this is not the place for you! This place is about the animals....which is what it should be about! The enclosures are vast and simple. You... More

My wife and I spent a nice day here today despite the awful weather! It ha been blowing a hoolie and raining all day. Ths meant that most pf the primates very wisely stayed inside, which was good in a way as you could see them a lot closer through the viewing areas. There were regular talks on the individual... We went for a family day out here with our 2 year old. It was great , even though it was raining we really enjoyed our day. The monkeys are great and so well looked after , the walking is nice and easy even for our 2 year old who walked it all. The parks are very good too and... More

I would say to bring a picnic as the food and drink on site is rather expensive for what it is. I have been very lucky and have never been when it has rained but I can't imagine it'd be great in the wet. Wearing trainers is a good idea especially if you're with kids as the climbing nets at... Superb day out. Highlights were the baby orangutans and the lemurs. Great fun watching the monkeys, and the layout means that you always have something to look at without having to walk too far. Quite busy at weekends, but there are lots of viewing points, toilets, refreshment places etc. Superb!

My dad and my step mum had the most wonderful wedding here even with the rain!! The staff could not be faulted in anyway! Always smiling, friendly and helpful! The rain did make it a little rubbish going round the park, it did however mean all the monkeys where in their huts! My 11 month old was so excited to... More

We visited Monkey World for my partner's birthday treat and had a great day out. The map given to us was brilliant help in allowing us to get around and we attended two of the talks....it is obvious just how much the keepers love their jobs and they are really knowledgeable about the monkeys in their care.

Visited with my husband, son, daughter in law and granddaughter recently. Although it was an incredibly cold day it was so wonderful to see all the animals and to realise that they are being treated well after being experimented on, illtreated, rescued etc. Take along a camera and there are many photo opportunities. My daughter in law was taken ill... More

I have visited here many times in season and out of season. Great to see they are still doing great and improving all the time. Improving site by adding more viewing windows for visitors. All staff polite and we'll trained all primates look in good condition and healthy baby orangutan are a big attraction. Plenty of seating areas and good... More
