I'd visited Monkey World a few times when I was much younger but decided to go back with my boyfriend. It's just as brilliant as I remember. Unfortunately we didn't have great weather on the day however this didn't matter as many of the viewing areas are under cover. I think it is great that there are also inside viewing... More

We recently visited monkey world and loved it. We walked all the way around in about an hour and half but then had lunch and my son played on the many playgrounds they have. We must of spent 3 hours there in total but would of stayed longer if we had time. The monkeys had lovely big enclosures with lots... More

My partner loves monkeys and had visited Monkey World as a child where he adopted Arfur. I decided to take my back for his birthday and even though he is in his mid 20s now, he enjoyed it just as much! (And has adopted Arfur again!) It's a great day out and so reasonably priced! The talks are very enthusiastic... More

Went here last September after watching Monkey Life on TV for years. Was not disappointed and want to go back again soon. The viewing areas of the chimp enclosures are in some case quite a way back. I appreciate this is to cause as little stress as possible to the animals but also found that the had set that many... More

It's really about the apes. This is a genuine rescue centre that puts the monkeys first. They let us in to raise the money to keep going, but this is not primarily a visitor attraction. It does serous research, provides sanctuary, and plans re-introduction. Good on them go along to support the good work

I have been coming here periodically since 1988, not long after it opened and we gained driving licences. How it has grown! The enclosures are superb, the enrichment these animals get is truly 5 star and they deserve it after what a lot have gone through. By today's standards whilst entry isn't cheap, it is going to support a worthwhile... More

We had a great day out at Monkey World. Our day was aided by the weather, beautifully sunny. We arrived at 11 and spent four hours there, though we felt we could have spent longer. Some of the areas are large and it was difficult to view the animals though most were visible at some point. I was surprised the... More
