Having watched the C5 series Monkey Life, Monkey World was one of the places I wanted to visit when I returned to the West Country. I was not disappointed. It wasn't overly expensive to get in, the cafes don't charge over the odds for food and drink and the monkeys keep you entertained all day. Although it doesn't look very... More

We visited monkey world today and expected a zoo type of environment, we were pleasantly surprised at how natural and large the enclosures actually are. The monkeys all seemed really relaxed and happy and most of all clean and really well looked after. The colleagues were really pleasant and the whole experience was very relaxed and a joy to behold.... More

Visited Monkey World with my wife twice last week. Found it to be a great experience and especially loved watching the orang-u-tans at play. There were talks by some members of staff in the afternoon which were very interesting and informative. The first day time we spent all day at the park and could have happily stayed longer. The 2nd... More

It's great to see the good work they do at Monkeyworld. Take the time to read the brochure and bring them a shoebox (see their website for items they need) two families went and we had a great time. Clean, plenty to do- would only suggest they signpost and make their map clearer.

A group of us decided to check out Monkey World whilst on holiday in Dorset and I have got to say we loved it! The monkeys were so cute and very well cared for, it is quite a large park and has loads of places for children to play in as well as a cafe and a gift shop. A... More

We absolutely loved Monkey World. My friend had followed the tv series and knew some of the monkeys. I soon fell in love with them too. The place is beautifully laid out so that the monkeys are relaxed and not at all bothered by visitors. There is a very good shop and a restaurant serving freshly prepared food. We were... More

Took toddler to see the monkeys, she loved them especially when they came up to the glass / fence and she could get a closer look. Lots of outdoor play areas to give kids the chance to run around, the new big play area at the back of the park is great, lots for older kids but quite a few... More

Visited Monkey world on 9th Sept 2014 with my wife and the experience was great. The planning and thought process into the operation on site was second to none and it was nice to see that the animals came first and was well cared for. When in the area again will visit again,i think the price admission should be raised.... More

This is a fun day but it is an Ape Rescue Centre its not a Zoo and you are going to see a lot of them. Its good value and a fascinating day and if you or the family love monkeys this is the place to go. Its safe its fun and its well organised. Its not the easiest walk... More
