We were drawn to the Model Village Tearoom in Corfe by the board outside offering many Gluten-free choices. We were not disappointed. The Gluten-free triple layered prawn & lemon mayonnaise sandwich was absolutely fantastic. The Best Prawn Sandwich I have ever eaten!!! Usually eating g-f in a cafe is a miserable experience with very few choices and hard, dry, tasteless... More

We visited this cafe before I was gluten free and it was nice. Now I am gluten free it was fantastic to re visit it and see a blackboard with their gluten free options! It was great to be able to eat a toasted sandwich! And a nice caramel shortbread. The coffee was good too. We were all happy :)

What a fantastic place and such good fun for all the family - this place has something for everyone and we found it enchanting - there are games on the lawn areas for children to play such a croquet, draughts, connect 4 and more - loved the Elvis scarecrow and also the fairy garden was fantastic and so cute as... Nice little place tucked away off the main street. We had free tickets from travelling on the Swanage railway but the entrance fee was small. The model village was well done but not very big, although the castle model was impressive. Liked the attention to detail with the little people etc in the model village. The nature part was also... This reasonably-priced and child-friendly attraction was a pleasant extra following my visit to Corfe Castle. The model village was very cleverly constructed, and it was interesting to compare the model (which showed the castle as it would have been prior to its destruction) with the ruins. There were lots of other activities to do which were ideal for children and... More

The model village is great and really detailed. Very interesting to see the Castle as it was. Its set in beautiful gardens and there's lots of games to keep everyone entertained too :) And during the Summer Holidays this year they have a quiz with a small prize for everyone who takes part. And after playing in the gardens we... More

We visited today and Corfe was the busiest I have ever experienced, but despite that the model village was an oasis of calm. The small entrance fee charge is well worth paying to visit, this beautiful garden with lovely views and of course the model village. We have 2 children aged 14 and 10 who loved the different games, croquet,... More

The Castle itself is well worth a visit; sitting on a hill above Corfe Castle village which itself is worth a visit. We went in high season and arriving late morning all NT car parks were full. We went back to Norden P&R a little way before the castle and despite being encouraged to pay extra and take the train,... More

I took my 2, nearly 3 year old granddaughter to the model village. It was magical watching her face as she explored around the village, especially the Old Mill and throwing money in the wishing well. I am not sure it is exact, as I was looking for one particular cottage, but it is really sweet and little ones would... More

I was hoping to be offered the cream tea with a ticket entrance fee slightly extended, ( as other TA reviews talk about) but it was not to be, maybe it was too busy when we went. Anyway, £12 later... garden, games being played by others, potting shed history shed of the history of the model, interesting 10 minutes, through... More
