We visited this many year's ago when you could walk right up to it unhindered by anything. We were visiting the swannery with our 13 year old grandson and were looking forward to showing him one of our National gems. What a surprise we had when we walked to it from the swannery. The only way in was by paying... More

I visited the farm with my grandaughters aged 9 and 6 after it was recommended by a relative and we were on holiday close by. The fact it has no carpark is the first problem. We had to pay £3.50 to park in the village and walk down a very steep path to the farm. We first tried the radio... More

We bought a ticket to gain entry to the Gardens, Swannery and Children's Farm. The Children's Farm only takes half a day, it's quite small, so we also visited the Swannery the same day. There's pony rides and a chance to hold a guinea pig. But there's not much else. A small place for ride on tractors, a small indoor... More

I've visited here with my nieces on more than one occasion. It's a bit expensive as a one-off but if you get a ticket to all three Abbotsbury attractions it's a bit more reasonable. The animals are fun and the children got to sit with guinea pigs on their laps and feed them carrots (and a bit of finger -... More

Being fairly local we have been many times & it's one of my granddaughters favourite places to visit. The staff are lovely & the animals well cared for & clean. They get the chance to groom the ponies which she loves. Now the negatives. It 's far too much money to get in & the prices in the gift shop... More

I visited here with my little boy on wednesday whilst on holiday. First we had to pay £3.50 for parking... £10 admission to the childrens farm and to be honest I was shocked. We walked through a barn where there is a wooden cow which you can pretend to milk and an area with hamsters etc which you cant get... More

I visited the Abbotsbury Childrens Farm in June 2015 with my husband and toddler. I have to agree with another review that I've seen on here that I found it expensive - £10 each for adults and £3.50 for parking. We also bought lunch there which cost an additional £25 for three meals and drinks, so it was not a... More

This is a lovely little farm in a beautiful area, but we did find admission quite expensive for the facilties available. We used Tesco vouchers. The farm has an indoor barn with soft play bouncy castle and building blocks also water area. Outside they have sand pit, tractors, play area an straw maze. They have a few animals to view... More

I took my 2 year old to this attraction one morning this week. It had just enough of what she likes to keep her interested. She particularly enjoyed the parakeets enclosure which you can walk in with the birds and they fly around you. She had a nice little guinea pig on her lap and saw the lambs run. Overall... More
