We had a wonderful day. There is so much for children to do that we ended up staying all day, all 3 of my boys were asking when we could visit again before we'd even got back to the car. There is a new water play activity there which my boys loved playing with, and the outside sand area is... More

I have difficulties walking so on arrival asked a member of staff about parking, very unhelpful and dismissive. Had to park a long way away (steep hill to climb) and pay £3 for the privilege! Very expensive to enter, very few animals and what is there u can't touch or feed. Play barn was ok, though lack of seating and... More

Upon arrival my first impression was one of disappointment. I thought we would have been around all the attractions and back to the car park within 20 minutes (which would have been about £1.25 per minute). However, the 'shows' made the afternoon. Our 4 year old loved the Guinea Pig session - where all the children sit and hold (you... More

we went there looking for something to do with the kids as the weather was a bit rubbish, we where hoping to keep them amused for an afternoon but this place took about 15 mins to get round. I was hoping for something like Godstone Farm where there are lots of animals and lots of other activities, this is about... More

Yes, I know that it is not the biggest or best children's farm attraction around, and yes, it may not be the cheapest but clever use of the Tesco's Clubcard vouchers gets us Passport tickets (for all three of the main Abbotsbury attractions) for nothing. So you can't moan at that. Although I probably would moan at paying the full... More

Great for younger children (less than 11 yrs) as there is indoor soft play as well as visiting the goats, guinea pigs, alpacas, and horses. Opportunities for guinea pig handling and horse riding (2 pounds) were much appreciated. Cafe ok but pricey unless you have an annual pass. Good but, as a tourist, only worth going to if you have... I went here with my two daughters and grandchild who is two. The indoor area was good but found the outdoor area lacking. It would be most suitable for children 3 to 7 years old. Think it is overpriced.

Hmmm I'm a positive person and don't expect disneyland everywhere I go but inside it felt like a crap youth club from the eighties. There were table tennis tables with the bats with no rubber faces so basically a circular bit of ply wood and a snooker table that looked like it had been abandoned in a garage. The inside... More

We visited as we discovered there was a Viking reenactment. Without this we would have been very disappointed. There are much better children's farms although perhaps not locally. There were handling experiences and a few different animals but we think they could make more of what they have. Too much play equipment and not enough animal focus, possibly. The lamb... More

Dear Reviewer, Thank you for your review. I was sorry to read that you found your visit to the Children's Farm disappointing. The attraction has been designed to excite the interest of the under 11's and It seems that you visited without children. It is very difficult for adults to appreciate an attraction such as this without seeing it through... More

We bought a ticket which included this, the swannery and the tropical gardens in one price. Ok, I admit we went as a couple and this is a children's farm but we love animals and the countryside so wanted to go anyway. It['s in a beautiful location, but I'm afraid there just isn't much there. There were a few friendly... More

Dear Reviewer, I am sorry that you feel that there was not a lot to do at the Children's Farm. I am sure that this was because you visited as two adults without children. The Children's farm has been designed for the enjoyment of the under 11's so it is difficult for adults to appreciate except through the eyes of... More
