We visited both the Swannery and the Children's Farm, the weather was glorious and my 9 and 11 year old daughters had a great time at both. They especially liked feeding the guinea pigs and playing with the younger children in the barn. Downside with an upside... the barn was freezing with the aircon blasting out so Mum got to... More

Went with a 5 year old and 1 month old who loved it. Lots for them to do although there seemed less going on than there was in past visits. 5 Year old loved the pirate boats but one pound goes very very quickly! They loved the interactive part and also handling of the guinea pigs. 5 year old also... More

We had such a lovely time yesterday with my son and his two little boys aged 7 and 5 . We go to this beautiful place every summer and were very impressed with all the new things to do .They have spent a lot of money on it so I was very surprised to read the recent review about everything... More

We visited while on a family holiday in Dorset and really loved it. My 20 month old daughter had a great day "talking" to the animals, feeding the ducks, bottle feeding a lamb, holding a guinea pig, and playing in the barn. A perfect place for small children. Maybe slightly overpriced, but a lovely location and well run farm. Lots... More

Don't get excited about this place. It has really gone downhill. There are few animals, kept in fairly dirty conditions. Apart from the indoor play area, which is reasonable, all the other activities are broken or on their last legs. There is a gap in the safety fence just by a river, where small children could slip through. Further along... More

The family loved this farm. Was a little pricey to get in however its a great family venue. Indoor play area, and the farm itself are both brilliant. The kids loved the lamb race, feeding and walking. All the animals looked really well cared for. The staff are attentive, friendly and seem to both know what they are doing and... More

We visited the farm after going to the swannery as we had bout the season ticket for all 3 abbotsbury attractions. The farm is ok, quite small with little going on. The indoor play area is good and our son enjoyed the tractors. But again it is quite overprice for what it is. We have a local childrens farm where... More

We visited with our two year old and he was so engrossed in the play areas he ignored the animals. While not a large attraction the range of things to do kept our one entertained for hours. Great entertainment.

Our kids love this place. It's one of the few things they all agree on. Something for all ages; our youngest is 3, our eldest 11. And us adults think it's pretty special too. I've noticed some people moaning about the entrance price but I'd say, especially if you're local, then get a year's pass that will not only get... More

Our girls 1yrs and 4yrs absolutely loved it. There is so much to do from pony rides, lamb racing, bottle feeding to petting/feeding the guinea pigs, massive indoor soft play along with bouncy castle, table tennis, ball pit, pool, tons of info on Dorset's smuggling past to learn about. Lots of nice spots for picnics indoors and outside around the... More
