Visited when they had a music fest, although we were there to see the house and gardens. A lovely place to visit and lots to see. The kitchen garden is huge ☺ We'll definitely revisit and hopefully when another music fest is taking place and be more organised by taking a picnic & chairs. PS: the cream tea is amazing.

The national trust properties are always our favourite places. The gardens are beautiful and magic. The house is superbly maintained. There is a second hand book shop here selling very good books with a fraction of the original price. Most of the books are in excellent condition.

What a wonderful house, I loved the eccentric designs of William Burges but not sure I could live them either! The kitchen garden was really lovely to stroll around. A small part of the East Wing had been opened up so we got to see that too, looking forward to seeing how that is transformed back to how it was... More

Beautiful Gardens, well managed and there is lots to see even if you stick to the wider pathways. There is a down side which needs to be addressed & certainly in time for next summer, that is making best use of the stables courtyard by placing umbrellas over some tables. We arrived just before lunch time, and the stables restaurant... More

Turned up to the surprise of Dolly Parton today which was great fun. Cuppa in the stables cafe to start and then a wander around the house. One of the volunteers was bit forceful with information but fair enough if she wanted to just share her passion. Lovely house and very strange decor :) beautiful gardens shame more produce not... Knightshayes is well worth a visit but if the weather is good set aside a whole day as the park land and gardens surrounding the house are the real star attractions.

There is no doubt that Knightshayes is a beautiful house and gardens. I totally agree with the previous comments about the parking, you do have to persevere to find a parking spot. The grounds are beautiful and plenty of shade can be found under the huge trees within the park. However on a negative if you visit with dogs or... More

Have just been to Knightshayes Court and all I can say it's been a great day. They are holding a Soup Stock and today they had a Blues Brother tribute Band from Birmingham and all I am going to say is that they where GREAT this goes on for the next three weekends next is Dolly Parton 17th August Michael... Fascinating architecture and interior decorations, with a great insight into how a very rich Victorian family lived. NT volunteers were charming and helpful. House interiors are not the normal run of the mill stately home and the gardens were well worth the visit as well. My wife had fairly low expectations but really enjoyed it. Normal good quality NT cafe... More
