I traveled on the 'River Exe Cruise' and have to say it was absolutely worth every penny. The boat has plenty of seats on both levels and no one seemed to have a restricted view anywhere. Hot and cold drinks were sold on board, including beers (I had a full pint of lager in a proper pint glass, very nice!)... More

Looking for something different to do in Exmouth so decided to spend a few hours on the river. It was relaxing, the staff were all friendly and the service excellent. The commentary provided by the captain was informative but not intrusive. Had the added bonus of seeing a couple of seals. The cream teas looked excellent and very good value.... More

A three to three and a half hour boat trip with an ornithologist as guide for £10, fantastic value for money. Next sailing is November apparently, I will definitely be back. Refreshments available and, considering they have a captive clientele on board, very reasonably priced. The home made broccoli and stilton soup was delicious. Lovely, friendly staff as well. Just... We phoned to check if the trip was still on before travelling. Lousy forecast but was told "We have never cancelled a bird watching trip in 18 years". Rain was lashing down as we boarded in Exmouth for the 3 hour estuary trip. We came prepared in full waterproof gear and chose to sit on deck below a canopy. Staff... More

Great trips of all kinds. The River Exe Cruise is not to be missed. Value for money. You can even hire the boat and customise your own trip.

The boat was hired privately for a 'day after the wedding' trip along the coast. We were made most welcome - although parking here is an issue and quite expensive too! You need to leave plenty of time to find somewhere to leave your car if you have a trip booked at busy times. I was a bit concerned about... More

It was always going to be a hard ask to make a one and a half hour trip up the Exe Estuary on a winter's day, in the light rain and plenty of wind and nothing much happening on the water. The commentary covered everything possible that was going on but that was confined to wrecks, old fishing boats, some... More
