We phoned to check if the trip was still on before travelling. Lousy forecast but was told "We have never cancelled a bird watching trip in 18 years". Rain was lashing down as we boarded in Exmouth for the 3 hour estuary trip. We came prepared in full waterproof gear and chose to sit on deck below a canopy. Staff... More

Great trips of all kinds. The River Exe Cruise is not to be missed. Value for money. You can even hire the boat and customise your own trip.

An excellently run local company who do not charge the earth for their trips, which are very informative and good fun and relaxed.

The boat was hired privately for a 'day after the wedding' trip along the coast. We were made most welcome - although parking here is an issue and quite expensive too! You need to leave plenty of time to find somewhere to leave your car if you have a trip booked at busy times. I was a bit concerned about... More

It was always going to be a hard ask to make a one and a half hour trip up the Exe Estuary on a winter's day, in the light rain and plenty of wind and nothing much happening on the water. The commentary covered everything possible that was going on but that was confined to wrecks, old fishing boats, some... More

Joined the Stuart Line birdwatching Cruise on Sunday 4th January for a four hour trip watching birds come and go along the Exe with a full running commentary from an expert twitcher. 35 different species pointed out as we cruised up and down the Exe estuary. Plus a couple of grey seals basking on the sandbanks and a few mute... More

Santa Cruise in December. Excellent value, kids had a great time, us adults enjoyed the mulled wine and mince pies. The presents from Father Christmas were ideal for each age group and of good quality. Will book again for this year.

First time visit to Exmouth and booked a festive river cruise via the internet from our hotel the day before. Website was informative on how to get there and staff where extremely helpful and friendly when collecting our ticket. The cruise around the Exe was full of interesting places that the guide told us all about but it didn't feel... More

Many thanks to all the staff for making the trip so pleasant . The commentary was interesting & just enough. We did the trip on Xmas eve although cold it was ok on the top open deck. The nicest mince pies. Although I'm from the area I still found the whole trip fascinating Again thanks to all the friendly professional... More

3rd time we sailed with santa and Stuart Line cruises. The staff were welcoming, helpful, attentive and really help you get in the Christmas mood. The mulled wine and coffee/tea lovely. Kids drinks and snacks/ mince pies very yummy. There was face painting, dancing, Santa's grotto, balloon man, and the presents given to the kids by Santa are always really... More
