A big park for letting your dog off the lead for a run. Pitch and putt golf is very good. There is also a skate park and a playground for kids. Tennis courts are available through the tennis centre which is located over the road. Lawn green bowls welcome visitors. A massive tree came down in the storms and I... More

Not much to do here except lounge around on the grass. Few flowers and shrubs. Good for youth action though.

The public park was waterlogged but seemed to be nice, and would be lovely in the summer. A massive Lucombe Oak (Quercus Suber x Quercus Cerris) was the feature of this park, but in 2009 it unfortunately succumbed to old age and the elements. However, there is a very large Lucombe Oak specimen still in existence, which must be in... More

A large, green park with café, tennis courts, golf (9 holes), fitness trim trail around the outside, modern skate park, kids play area and fish ponds. Lovely place with something for the whole family to do.

Lots to keep the kiddies occupied. Particularly loved the felled tree which is now used as a natural climbing frame.

Stayed very locally for a week over easter and visited the park to play pitch and putt golf. Although not 'golf course' standard this was heaven for our 8 year old who loves his golf. Clubs, balls, tees, scorecard and pencil are provided for £4 and we went round twice several times. Great fun and a nice park.

This park has various facilities. A play area for very young children, a skate park, open spaces to sit in (though be aware - a lot of dogs get walked in this park and sadly not everybody is a responsible dog owner), there is a pitch and putt course, tennis courts and a seasonal cafe. It is also home to... More

This is a lovely, very well maintained park. But, as an owner of 2 dogs I can't walk my dogs in this park through fear of yet another dog attack. I've experienced irresponsible dog owners unable to control their dogs when off lead here. I would certainly welcome a dog off lead ban as our local dog warden is rushed... More
