Nice place to walk and there are plenty of paths for those with sticks, walkers, prams etc. There is a mini golf course here, skateboard park, outdoor gym and the café is open in summer. Great for the kids, dogs or just for a quiet walk or to sit and while away the time.

Having walked through Phear Park pretty much weekly, usually with dogs, for over 40 years I want to refute the one 'terrible' review on this site. It says it's ruined by travellers taking it over! Travellers did indeed set up in the park but were moved on peacefully within a couple of days. That was the one & only time... More

A lovely large green area, with play park, refreshments & a picnic area. Nice to walk the dog or just sit a watch the world go by.

A great place to let the kids run off steam, the skate park looked amazing and the cafe was very reasonably priced. The play park was fairly small but there was enough to keep 3 kids from 3-6 busy for a couple of hours. The outdoor gym equipment was good and I liked the vast expanses of grass.

Huge park, with some lovely trees, a little café which opens in summer offering drinks and snacks. Outdoor gym equipment on the way round and there is also a golf area. A favourite haunt to walk the dog, walk alone, and enjoy the weather. Parking not the best but usually find somewhere to park.

Large green park. If a game of Pitch and Putt is your bag, then check out Phear park. Pleasent walk and some good views but not much else here

Recently taken over by travellers who will not leave and who are ruining this public park. The park is home to a bowls club, mini gold, a skate park and playground. Many of these unusable due to the unsocial behaviour of the travellers.
