Exmouth has a lovely sandy beach which is two miles long. At one end is a yacht marina where a pleasure boat company operates cruises along the Jurassic Coast and also up the River Exe estuary and river. The beach was very clean and ideal for walking. The promenade has many cafes, pubs and restaurants to suit all tastes.

With sufficient cheap parking near to hand this is a clean tidy beach which is both family friendly and dog friendly too.A nice sandy beach in a pretty part of Devon.

It's an ideal sandy beach to visit and is perfect at the right time of year with plenty of ice cream shops around to enjoy. Only downside is that a lot of families with young children visit here, as I was leaving the beach with my own 3 month old sister, all I could hear was the screams and cries... More

Nice flat beach that is good for all the family and dogs. Easy to get to and not too expensive to park, which makes a change.

The beach at Exmouth is a nice long sandy beach which is lovely to walk along on a sunny day. The town is also worth a walk around.

Lovely beach, very clean. We had great fun making sand castles, collecting shells and paddling. Lovely afternoon spent here.

Lovely long beach with clean sand and small rock pooling area at low tide. Dog-free areas from spring to autumn. Good priced beach goodies at the RNLI shop. Watch the rowing and paddle-boarders go gently by.

We spent a weekend here overlooking the beach. It is very beautiful and I was surprised how well used the sea is by boats, people fishing and swimmers. We enjoyed the lovely long walks but were disappointed to see so many dogs on the beach. We read signs saying dogs are not allowed on the beach until 30th September but... More
