Great time had in February

The beach is the perfect destination for everyone, a wonderful promenade, very clean sand and suitable for children, dogs, cyclists and people just to go for a stroll.

Walked alone the beachfront on a rather chilly February afternoon! Walked from the marina area, lots of nice modern flats, all, the way to the bowling centre?! Tide was coming in to the estuary, quite compelling to watch. No where nice open along the front to eat which was disppointing, but probably due to out of season. Public toilets were a disgrace.

One and three quarter miles of sand backed by a level walk. Over the last few years the beach has lost some of its golden sand , but still a very attractive area. An area of rocks that uncover at low tide provide plenty of chances to hunt for crabs. Part of the beach has a red flag area that... More

Exmouth is blessed to have such an amazing beach. Great for all the family and plans are in progress to improve the water sports facilities. Views out to sea and across to Torquay are stunning. There are a number of places to eat and drink catering for all budgets. Go try it and find out for yourself

Sandy and even in bad weather it's a lovely walk. The sand dunes aren't as big as they use to be but still nice. The lifeboat station is defiantly a must see.

This is a lovely sandy beach (which isn't always easy to find in England). It is large and it is clean and tidy. It is lined with various activities, food kiosks and a couple of pubs. I was very impressed that on the far end they had a separate section for families with dogs. I would certainly return if I... More

Miles of golden sandy beaches, great for family fun, can be exposed now that dunes washed away and need to be careful at high tides but at low tides can paddle without too much problem. Lots of places for refreshments along the prom.

The beach is very clean and lots of young and old walk the beach. It is a long beach and well worth a visit. Plenty of places to eat and drink while you are taking in the sun,

Living in exmouth for 27 years I have often visited the beach. The sand to me is always dirty and full of rubbish. Why can't it be kept clean and the sand care and time as the wards the beach wins so surely clean, bright beaches are the way foward. Hopefully the new regeneration will help as it's all looking dated... More
