Get up close to the animals in the pet centre or burn off some energy in one of the three different soft play areas. There's also a museum of farming and a Victorian street as well as the vintage car and Reg Imray motorcycle collection. To top it all off there are daily ferret, lamb or duck racing shows and the excellent Hawkridge Bird of Prey display. Refuel in the fantastic restaurant with locally sourced, home cooked food. « less

Great day out with my 2yr old son. He loved everything but the food which I have to agree with him was atrocious, very expensive( meal for 2 and a child including a 500 ml of coke for £2.10 came to £27.80 more than entrenched to the park for two) microwaved food which with such good attractions and friendly staff... Came here on Thursday 3rd July as we were on holiday at the haven site next door. We decided to make use of the money off vouchers that we received in our holiday pack and we're definitely not disappointed. My four year old daughter was fascinated by everything there was to offer and the massive play park and mini golf... More

World of Country Life is a must-do for families with small kids - we hand fed lambs and goats in the morning, went on the deer train (more hand feeding of deers and lamas), walked a goat and the falconry display is great - the eagle owl landed on the benches right between the spectators so you really got close... Great to hear you had such a fantastic visit to us and filled the whole day - we really have got so much to do it's hard to fit it all in to a single visit! I'll pass your comments on to the team up at Hawkridge Birds of Prey as well. Thanks for the great review, come again soon! More

I took my two children 3 and 7, who both had a brilliant time looking at the old farming equipment but it was topped off by visiting all the different animals. We sat and watched a bird of prey demonstration that was a little too long for my youngest but enjoyable all the same. There were plenty of indoor and... More

We had a fantastic day out here. Excellent facilities, so much to see and do. The indoor play areas are second to none, beating many facilities that solely cater for this. The animals, and the interaction you can have with them, is a delight for the children and adults alike! Extremely helpful and polite staff. The renovated restaurant is lovely,... More
