Very friendly staff here we enjoyed learning about local history and they were very keen to chat to us about how things used to be. Good second hand book stall outside.

We all had a brief in the museum and then headed off to the beach armed with buckets and nets to see what we could find. We wandered around looking in the rock pools and saw a variety of wildlife which the museum staff... More

Good to spend a few minutes in the museum finding out about the local history and how things were in times gone by? Lovely people running it and they are happy to share their knowledge with everyone who shows an interest, go on, pop in and you may well be pleasantly suprised?!

The Museum does not apparently represent society... More

One of the very few places open in the winter: Combe Martin Museum is by far the top attraction in the area, so much so that we think it should be expanded in to a cafeteria just like Barnstaple has. Welcoming volunteer staff curate wonderful exhibits that really do tell Combe Martin's story, and in much detail. There is some... More

Such a lovely place and the hub of the village :) Friendly and knowledgeable volunteers who really set the standard for customer service and warmth. Such great displays in a very spacious and lovely Museum with local history. It's also the Tourist Information Centre. Exemplary. Thanks and well done ;)
