Out of season on a cold wet December day, and I was the only visitor. No tours (would you want one on such a day?) but I was treated to a knowledgable discussion on their wines, and some insights into running an English vineyard. Descriptions of the wine were honest and not a hard sell. The prices are not outrageous,... More

A bit difficult to get to, especially if it's in Autumn/Winter time, due to the very narrow and single-track country roads. But when you arrive, you'll find a knowledgeable and helpful viniculturist (wine grower / producer) who seems like a member of the family, rather than a salesman. Congratulations to them, for selling their fizz, to Marks and Spencer, so... More

We (4 adults & 3 children) booked onto the 'winery talk & tour' this Tuesday. We were met by Hillary who gave us the introduction as to how Eastcott vineyard had evolved and has become what it is today. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed the talk whilst sat in the lovely grounds enjoying the summer sun. We... More

Two hours of great explanations of the process by Hillary. Lovely wine .Worth a visit but don't follow sat nav ring for directions. Not a touristy place (no food or coffees etc) which was great ...no pressure to buy . Just enjoy.

I'm reviewing the wine as I didn't go on the tour. The pink fizz is superb, if you're in the area then buy some and celebrate something!

Myself and a friend had pre booked using our travelzoo voucher and we had a lovely afternoon learning more about how the wine was made and had a lovely tasting session at the end. If you are in the area and would like something different and original to do then this is well worth a visit.

This is not a tour. It is a lecture first of all standing outside, and then inside the building where the wine is made with nothing working or illustrating what you are being told. We were not even taken to see a vine growing. I consider it a complete waste of £8.00 each, even with the (miniscule) portions for the... More

Hi Liz, Thank you again for taking the time to share your views. May I also share publicly what we said in our previous e-mail response to your feedback. From what you say, you joined one of our Winery Tours. This is described in our leaflets and on our website as: 'A guided tour of the winery, with an explanation... More

Hilary and Richard gave a most informative tour. There are two, one on viticulture (growing grapes!) and the wine making..the second is shorter and just concentrates on the production of English sparkling and still wine. I did the shorter one and Hilary guided us through the process with a light informative talk that was full of fascinating information but short... More

My wife and I both visited this vinyard tour 'on spec'. We did not regret it. We took the short tour (didn't actually go and see the vines) and were not disappointed. We had a most interesting, humourous and informative time, including some interesting questions and pleasant tastings. Thank you Hilary for sharing Richard's and your dream and how it... More

My husband and I visited on a Sunday afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed our tour. It was very informative and very interesting. Questions were welcomed and we learnt all about how to make wine from the beginning to the end. We finished with some tasting and the wines white and red, both still and sparkling were very good. All in all... More
