This is one of the best farms we've been to. Wish we could have spent the whole day there as there is so much to do. Staff really make it and are great hosts. Really recommend Pennywell!

Dear Claire, to be honest I am completely baffled by your review! We do have a different activity every half hour, every day and that is a fact. We have hundreds of animals, every kind of farm animal and a huge variety of equines, pets and poultry. We don't offer a free return ticket unless it has rained, which it... More

Soon as I heard there would be baby piglets it was an obvious choice to round off mine and my partners trip to Torquay. I was overall really impressed by the facilities, cleanliness of the animal areas and the activities on offer. My only gripe is the food is a little overpriced, it is slightly to be expected and had... More

Took our 3 year old grandson to Pennywell Farm as we had taken his Dad there when he was young. It was a lovely day out and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Feeding the lambs , holding piglets and guinea pigs was great for the children ( and grown up children too 😉... More

Thank you for the 5 star review and recommendation. We are always very touched when the next generation of Pennywell Farmers come to visit with parents or grandparents who hold fond memories of the farm. I hope that you enjoyed the rest of your weekend away and that you will come and visit again soon. More

Had a very fun and full day out at Pennywells. It was quite pricey to get in but we had picked up a leaflet for a £1.50 per person discount. Pony/donkey rides were an extra £3.50 which I felt was unnecessary. Animal food was £1 for a small bag. I wouldn't bother with the bird food again the chickens were... More

Thank you for the lovely review. It's great that you were able to enjoy the piglets. With the very tiny newborns, it is not always possible to offer piggy cuddles, particularly if the farm is busy as obviously their welfare has to come first. We do always have piggy cuddles on offer though so we hope you will visit us... More

Really enjoyed our day out here with my 4year old. They put her name and age on a sticker so that all staff could talk to her by name. She loved the bottle feeding of lambs and goats and getting to have piggy cuddles. Food in the cafe is standard cafe food, jacket potatoes n sandwiches. Beware of chickens roaming... More

Lovely to hear that you all enjoyed the animal activities. Our free range chickens did become a little more free range than we would have liked but we have made successful efforts to keep them in, so they shouldn't be bothering you next time. Thank you for the brilliant 5 star review! More

Although it seemed a little pricey to get in, our eldest had seen a leaflet for Pennywell and really wanted to go and I'm glad we went. They had kennels available for our dog - just supply your own bed, bowls and a padlock. The kennels are a fabulous size even for large breeds and are well shaded. Once in,... More

I'm really pleased to see that you enjoyed the farm but obviously very sorry that you were disappointed in the Cafe. All our baguettes come with salad so I'm puzzled by that but we don't make them up in advance so that the baguettes are always freshly cooked. Also, different people like them served in different ways so not assuming... More

What a lovely little farm! We visited because we were only staying 5 minutes away but it is worth a journey if you are staying further afield. Everyone is positively encouraged to get hands on from cuddling a pig to bottle feeding a lamb. The staff are very friendly and all kids are given a sticker when they enter with... More

Went with our 8yr old boy. There is fantastic interaction with the animals with everyone allowed to hold so many varieties - pigs, chicks, ducklings, mice, guinea pigs. Everywhere also looked very clean & the animals well cared for - lots of hand cleaning stations too Events every half hour which filled the day - kids entertainer shows were good,... More

Always happy to receive a five star review and always very happy to see a comment about Pennywell being great value. I hope that you didn't miss the assault course as that is definitely great for older and children and adults. Sounds like you managed to fit a lot into your visit though and enjoy a really full day out... More

My husband and I really enjoyed Pennywell Farm. Our favourite part was getting to hold the miniature pigs as they were really adorable. We also watched the miniature pig racing which was amusing and quite interactive as we split into groups and had a certain pig we cheered on. The staff were friendly and helpful and all the animals seemed... More
