Huge rural children's play area.

Loads to do, even on wet days, with entertainment, rides and play areas, tons of cuddly animals and gorgeous views across the Dart valley.

Great place to visit and all the animals are adorable. My boyfriend and I went on half term and although many of the activities are aimed at children they are all good fun and we really enjoyed our day. Reading a lot of people complaining about the price of entry but it costs a lot to keep all these animals... More

This is our 6th year visiting penny well. My kids will not visit Devon without going here. They are 10 & 8 years and love it. You are never to old if you love animals. We got to handle mini pigs, rats, mice, rabbits the kids were aloud to get up close with any animal they liked. The pond dipping... More

What an amazing day! My 6 year old son had a fabulous time and there is so much to do. It was lovely to see him holding some of the animals. There are a lot of areas where you can have a picnic. You can also feed some of the animals if you buy the feed from the shop. Worth... More

Lovely place, great staff, lots to do, beautiful views, calm and friendly atmosphere, aimalsmwell looked after. Some of the negative reviews on here are bizarre...don't listen to them, some people are never satisfied! My kids loved it and I had to drag them away from Pets Corner at closing time! A brilliant day out and well worth the money in... More

I remember going to Pennywell Farm for my 5th birthday and it was lovely to return with my daughter. There were activities every half an hour, and plenty more to do. We had such a fun filled day with beautiful views Thank you

Pennywell is an excellent day out. I have two daughters (3&4) who absolutely love handling all the animals. The only downside is the cafe prices. Its really expensive (£4.95 for a kids sausage chips and beans, or £4.55 a kids (1/2) jacket potato, which is 20p less than a full one). Take a picnic and save a small fortune

great visit, genuine happy and keen staff, lots of things to do and lots of animals to be spotted mauled and admired, but they really do need to enforce the smoking ban. lots of fat/unemployed mums smoking around their children on site, scandalous disregard for their children and other visitors. food offered is unremarkable , the usual sausage and chips and... Thanks for your review. It's great to hear that you had such a good day enjoying the animals. I take on board your comments about the smoking ban. We are a no smoking site and would certainly enforce the ban when visitors are near any of the farm buildings or animals but it is much more difficult when they wander... More

Visited with my daughter, sister, baby niece and our mum this weekend. It is a fairly pricey day out but we had a GREAT time. There is so much to do and the activities are engaging and well planned. The animals are gorgeous, friendly and well cared for. My favourite part was cuddling the piglets... I even had to go... More

Thank you for the glowing review. Piggy cuddles is always very popular so it's particularly nice to know you appreciated all the other animals and activities. I have passed your comments on to Kirsty and Ed who are definitely worth their weight in gold as are the rest of the Pennywell team. Thanks again and we hope to see you... More
