Pennywell Farm is an ok place to visit. Lots to do with the children and for the children. The pig and ferret racing was hilarious. The only downfall, and I understand that the place needs to make a profit, but the prices are ridiculous AND you have to pay extra for other rides inside like pony rides. Yes there are... More

Brought our little boy here for the day whilst staying in Devon. Reasonable entry prices, our little boy was free as he was under 3, and we got a money off voucher that was in the 'Devon Guide'' (can be found in most tourist areas free of charge). There was a great range of activities which with something different starting... More

We visited Pennywell whilst on holiday this week. It is a bit pricey, but no different to other places in Devon really. Once we got inside you can tell where your money goes. The half hourly shows are really informative and well done, ideal for kids without talking down to them. Being able to pet and feed the animals is... More

Took my two children today to pennywell farm. What a fantastic day out. The experiences and interaction with the animals were outstanding and the staff were friendly and great with the children. Would highly recommend if visiting the area with children.

Such a good family day out. Defiantly worth visiting! More expensive to get in than some places but then almost everything inside is included in the price. So much to do.... Animal petting, pig racing, play barns, crazy golf and more. The trampolines are a particular fave with my little girl! In holidays they have shows too which are great... More

We visited the farm with my parents and my 2 year old daughter. We had a really lovely time here and would certainly recommend it for those with young children. The activities were great and she got the chance to milk a goat, collect eggs and feed some kids. All of which she enjoyed. She wanted to go on the... More

Visited the farm yesterday. It was probably the best open farm I've visited. Every half an hour there is a different "show" on which means you are never bored. The staff are all really friendly and even though it rained we had a great time. They also gave us a voucher to come back again for free because it had... More

To be told that we are the best open farm you have visited (probably!) is fantastic. We really can offer a full day out, even in the rain and I certainly hope that you make use of your free wet weather return ticket to come and see us again. More

Visited Pennywell twice this year now and it always provides a good day out! My children still love it and our favourite animals are the micro pigs- but I also have a soft spot for the shire horses! It isn't a massive farm but there's still plenty to fill most of a day. It's better when the sun is shining... More

We visited pennywell and were really impressed! The first thing I noticed is just how great the staff were, every one of them so friendly and smiling all the time, made me feel really welcome. The guy that drove the tractors was an absolute joy, he made time to chat and was unbelievably friendly as well as extremely hard working,... More

We had a lovely day at Pennywell - took our 2yr old daughter while staying near by on holiday. Very hands on, not too large that she could walk nearly everywhere, little train and tractor rides included in entry fee and her first pony ride (this is extra). Reasonable restaurant & outdoor seating takes in wonderful views. Definitely pay a... More
