A lovely family day out with activities every half an hour to keep children occupied and several activities on continually throughout the day. Things like rides on the tractor and trailer and the rainbow railway are also included which is a bonus. If children collect stamps for six different activities they can get a free return ticket. There are several... More

What a day! This is the best farm I have been to. It offers the one thing all children want when seeing animals and that it to touch them and hold them all. I am usually a person who has a quick look round and I'm done but this was so interactive with great events happening every 30mins and these... More

We visited after reading so many glowing reviews. For 4 adults and 2 children (5&6) it cost a whopping £73, there is not a Family Ticket option. On entering the farm we were immediately disappointed. The Farm is not extensive and definitely in my opinion over priced. Our children immediately were attracted to ride on bikes which required an extra... More

This farm is a little gem of a place.. the pigs are super cute and friendly.. the setting is idyllic, there's heaps for little children and bigger ones alike to see and do there and the staff are wonderful.. a perfect place to take your children. Special thanks and appreciation to Mark at the farm who made our sons experience... More

Lovely place to visit with younger children - under eight I would think. Lots of activities and opportunities for interaction with animals. The maze is brilliant. Cafe ok, a bit limited, but we found something we all liked. Lots of ice cream outlets. We loved the new crazy golf!

I took my 10 year old Granddaughter and travelled for 80 miles as she was desperate to see and cuddle the miniature pigs. On arrival the farm appeared very small and I was concerned that we wouldn't fill the day, how wrong I was.I had to drag her away as it was closing for the day. This is a real... More

We visited this part of Devon specifically to visit Pennywell and we were not disappointed. We had wonderful cuddles with the cute pigs, raced around on the bunny carts, went on a tractor ride and had an amazing day out. The staff were helpful and great to chat too, it was everything we expected.

Unlike most farm centres where you simply walk around and see various animals, Pennywell have half-hourly activities from bottle feeding the animals to watching ferret racing! The presenters are brilliant with kids and make it all very inclusive and exciting. There are also loads of other games and things for kids to do, although Pony rides are extra money on... More

Hi Liam and thank you for a great review. The whole day at Pennywell is designed for our visitors to take part rather than spectate and you obviously appreciated that. It is also designed to be a full day out. It sounds as though the Pennywell Miniature Pigs worked their magic on your girlfriend as they seem to with all... More

We went on a cold wet August day and had a wonderful time! The children immediately fed the goats and sheep in the barn, followed by a ride on the tractor, the rocket trailers, a jumps the trampoline etc. the highlight was petting the miniature pigs which are just gorgeous! Staff very friendly, great layout and not trying to get you to... More

To be honest, the fantastic visitors that we have had on the many cold, wet August days this year have helped us to ignore the weather. So pleased to hear that you had a wonderful time and thank you for noticing that we really have tried to keep any 'add on' costs to the very minimum. Thank you for your... More

The weather when we arrived at Pennywell was horrific, a mini river was running through the car park and if it hadn't been for an annoyed toddler in the back seat we wouldn't have gone we would have just had a drive through Dartmoor. We are so glad we stopped though. For starters the staff were all so friendly and... More

This August the weather has been decidedly British and we have enjoyed some incredibly wet days. I'm pleased that the weather didn't deter you from visiting and that you were able to enjoy all the undercover activities. Just think what you would have missed out on if it hadn't been for your annoyed toddler! I take on board your comments... More
