Set in a beautiful old watermill with the river flowing beside it, next to a well priced car park this is a totally enjoyable experience. We've been 3 times now with either Friends or family and have never been disappointed. The displays change each visit and although I am not an art lover as such, they always surprise me and... More

A most enjoyable place to visit when you are in Bovey Tracey. I visited twice in one week, and I come all the way from Cornwall..! on the second visit I invest in a nice piece of ceramics, there is something for everyone here, the range of prices go from cheap to very expensive.

This exhibition centre really is a cut above the usual visitor attraction. Each time we've visited there are different diplays on show, beautifully lit and nicely laid out. If you like anything in the jewellery, bronze statue, ceramics, felts, paintings, leatherwork, glass or woodwork fields, then you'll enjoy a visit here. The cafe is to be recommended too with excellent... More

I had often driven by the sign on the Newton Abbott road for the Guild, and had wondered what it was. If I'm honest, I wasn't expecting much as I hadn't heard many people talk about it before. Anyway been for the 3rd time today in the last few months, and this is a really interesting place to go. Firstly,... More

The Devon Guild building in Bovey Tracey is filled with all sorts of craft products from a wide variety of artists. There is certain to be something that will appeal to every taste. There is an exhibition space which features regularly changing shows of themed work. The restaurant is excellent with a good selection of freshly prepared food and cakes... More

This was our second visit. There is a pleasant cafe upstairs (which we didn't use) but the menu looked nice and the prices reasonable. The craft wares on display and for sale are all locally made and include art, furniture, jewellery, furniture, clothing etc. Some nice pieces and we would recommend a visit.

There is so much to see at the Devon Guild in Bovey Tracey and we found it quite by chance as we parked at the bottom of town. We went back time and again to look at the painting, glass, ceramics, gifts and the wonderful wood turning. Upstairs there is a very good restaurant with an excellent home made, fresh... More

The Mill is a showcase for local artists and craft workers in a wide range of formats and materials. We've been going there for 30 years or so about once or twice a year and sometimes its better than others but always worth a look. The cafe is fine, too.
