Beautifully converted mill houses wide selection of fantastic crafts by superb artists. We were surprised by the huge size of the space and delighted by the quality of work there. Huge variety of price, excellent place for presents. Treated ourselves to a beautiful mosaic picture. Devon is lucky to have such a large amount of talent and somewhere so excellent... More

Stopped off at this lovely gallery and had an enjoyable browse, sadly finances not good enough to buy what I wanted. However had an excellent coffee and a blissful cheese scone. Later, aftre a visit to Colehays Manor (daughter's wedding venue) we came back to the cafe for lunch which was a wonderful salad. it was imaginatively put together and... More

We usually have a trip here once or twice a year to see the various craft and art displays. Some not always to our taste personally. We appreciate it takes the crafts person a lot of time to make and produce but for the average pocket to buy it is very pricey. A shame really as there are some nice... More

We stopped off for a browse around during a walk around the town whilst visiting relatives. Nice setting, some strange pottery ('woman with bemused hen' consisted of a half naked, well built lady with a large out of proportion hen beside her, no wonder the hen was bemused). Still I guess beauty is in they eye of the farmholder. There... More

We are always keen to support local arts and crafts and to visit any historic sites when we are on holiday in the UK. This is in the old water mill which is a beautiful building and presumably this was saved by the Guild purchasing it and converting it for this purpose. We were totally gobsmacked at the prices, we... More

Thanks for your comments. We try to cater for wide audiences with a broad mix of items from the inexpensive to the very expensive! Many people return to buy works by eg Blandine Anderson as we get the best pieces direct from the makers who have a longstanding relationship with the Guild. More

Great place to visit, lovely cafe, food and service. Some lovely finished craft items though a bit too pricey for me. It's a real shame that seeming this is a Craft Center that they do not have a dedicated place in the shop for selling unusual Craft kit's or other items for someone like me and my friends to buy... Thanks for your comments. We try to cater for a broad audience with prices that range from inexpensive and affordable to, frankly, expensive - the price is usually reflected in the time and skill invested in the work by the maker. We do have some craft kits for sale in the shop to have a go yoyurself...please ask if you... More

Worth visiting even if you don't like the exhibition because there is enough of high quality in the shop to keep you interested.

We stopped here on a Saturday to view the arts and crafts. Some arts were quite beautiful. Some were little better than average but still worth taking a look around. We did not eat here in the tea room because we had already eaten. We found the shop to be clean, creative and worth going out of you way to... More
