Excellent quality and very good value in the cafe. Gluten free options were unusually good. Cheese tea at £4 was delicious home baked cheese scone, cheddar cheese and chutney with pot of tea or coffee.

Came today after a while. Seems to have beefed itself up a bit since last time, not least in quality and the special anniversary exhibition of work in the more modern gallery. They seem to have rejigged the cafe, a good selection but beware the meals on the black board are only served between fixed hours and after 3pm it... More

I came here with a friend and we looked at everything together. You notice more when you have someone with you. There are lots of things for children to see and buy to keep them busy on wet days. I was overwhelmed by the fabulous glass, pottery, jewelry, art and clothing, all from local artists. I hadn't been here for... More

This was my second trip to the Craftsman's guild which has a wonderful array of unique glass, pottery, metal sculpture & picture art. Some of it can be expensive but there are pieces there for most budgets. The staff there were wonderfully knowledgeable & very helpful. They managed to trace a local artist for me so I cold buy a... The building is an old mill site set in the pretty village of Bovey Tracey and very attractive indeed. The car park is nearby and inexpensive. This is a lovely place to visit to enjoy some locally made crafts. Prices range from fairly reasonable to very expensive but I usually manage to buy a little treat without parting with too... More

Bright and airy and the food is always very good. Great place to meet friends for a relaxing lunch and home-cooked food. Always nice and you get to wander through the gallery too and pick out some lovely artwork or gifts

Set in a beautiful old watermill with the river flowing beside it, next to a well priced car park this is a totally enjoyable experience. We've been 3 times now with either Friends or family and have never been disappointed. The displays change each visit and although I am not an art lover as such, they always surprise me and... More
