Our boy really enjoyed the high ropes course and long zip wire. There are some great playgrounds and lovely river walks. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would definitely return.

We usually come to this campsite for a couple of days in the summer. It's a lovely campsite with good clean showers and toilets for campers and a good playground. Drivers go slow however (it does say this on signs) as there are children on their bikes. There are very good facilities that will fill up your time there. This... More

We visited in early October as part of a VW camper weekend. The site itself is vast, clean and from what I saw, very well managed. The food at the restaurant was basic, but cheap and tasty, as was there ale! The main attraction here though is all activities at the lower end of the site near the entrance. A... More

This is the perfect place to bring hyper-active kids, if not all kids! All the play areas are made of wood with sawdust underneath so totally environmentally friendly. I've never camped there as I lived so close as a child. We would make a summer day of it, as there were water play areas for all ages, and being right... More

Returned from a great weekend at the annual Octoberfest vw festival. Weather was fairly kind and we had a lovely large electric hook up pitch. The grass was short and the pitch had gravel path to it as well as well maintained on site roads. The club house is lovely as is the Cornish rattler cider! Food was nice we... More

Spectacular walks, adventure playground for children. Could spend all day. In summer, canoeing, rock wall, tennis etc. Cafe was closed but it was off season. Would go back.

We didn't know about this place. Me, my husband and 17 month old son were exploring the area by car. This place is amazing and well worth the very reasonable entry price. Our son was to young for a lot of it but can't wait till he's older so we can make full use of it. It's beautifully kept and... More
