Just been to River Dart for our first camping adventure, and it was fantastic. The place is kept to a very high standard, clean, tidy, great on site activities for everyone. Cant wait to go again. :-)

I visited with a group of friends, and if I hadn't been with them and having a laugh I would have not enjoyed myself at all. Although the showers were great and probably the warmest and cleanest I have had at a campsite. The washing up facility was also great! However upon arrival we were told we could not put... More

Just spent a weekend at River Dart & have to say it is a fabulous venue for family's with children but for more mature caravan & campers I would not recommend it. We took our 2 grandchildren & found that although the rules say respect others by not making to much noise after dark we found it incredibly difficult to... More

Our son Jamie and his wonderful fiance' Stephanie, held their Civil Wedding ceremony at Holne Park House on Saturday June 21st 2014. To start with, the weather for the weekend was fabulous, which goes hand in hand with the facility they chose, for their special day, namely Holne House. The house itself is gracious, with a feeling of granduer, but... More

We have over the last 10 years stayed at quite a few different campsites in different parts of the country, almost all of them have had their good points and their bad points, but over all we've only ever stayed at one site we wouldn't go back. River dart is not that site, not by a long stretch! We originally... More

Came here for a weekend with my partner thinking it would be a relaxing break for us as all the activities would be family / child orientated! How wrong we were! We had a fantastically fun action packed weekend and spent the entire time being big kids! So much to do, as well as the quiet woodland walks and sunbathing... More

Just back from a three night break at the River Dart Country Park Campsite. We managed to go outside of the school holidays as the school had Thursday and Friday as inset days. We went in our VW T5 campervan with two other families in a caravan and a tent (6 adults, 6 kids) - each allocated pitch was one... More

Excellent for a family holiday, good clean facilities, lots to do for children of all ages. Safe for you to let your children time on their own (15 yr olds). Bike rides, high ropes. Even though the weather wasn't brilliant they still had a brilliant time. We even managed to have a fairly relaxing break as well.

We have just got back from here after camping for 4 nights in a trailer tent, on entering the park we knew we were in for a great time, the place is in a beautiful setting with loads to do for free and also there is a option to pay for some other things. The pitches are a great size... More
