Great weekend break for son's 7th birthday

Spent 2 nights here camping and we loved it. Clean, tidy, and loads to do for the kids. Loads of space, big play areas and the dog was allowed to join us which was a bonus. I... read more

Spent 2 nights here camping and we loved it. Clean, tidy, and loads to do for the kids. Loads of space, big play areas and the dog was allowed to join us which was a bonus. I hardly saw the children aged 7 & 10 as they were off having an amazing time, whilst we enjoyed the walks with our... More

Just returned from a short break camping at river dart and have to say it's a fantastic place to visit. The children enjoyed a massive adventure (mummy and daddy also loved being big kids). The facilities were clean and very well maintained. We ate in the sawmill and the food was lovely. Only thing we felt could be improved is... More

Spent a week at this site in a caravan and couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. Our 3 year old daughter absolutely loved it here as there was always something here to do. From playing on the parks, swimming in the lake and playing in the arcades. The toilets were always clean and the showers were always hot.... More

We recently stayed at this camp site over half term. It was very busy and there were large groups of families with teens and tweenies that played loud music until 10pm at night. There were also couples and groups making a noise, loud laughing etc until midnight. I think they wanted a festival feel to the place. The toilets kept... More

Brilliant staff Beautiful location and facilities. You should definitely stay for longer than a day - it never gets boring! We will be camping next year as this works out as amazing value for money.

We have just returned from another wonderful camping trip, we are all exhausted but we have had great fun. The climbing wall was fantastic value, thoroughly enjoyed the high ropes (2nd year), canoeing and the big zip wire. These may be extra but thoroughly worth every penny, the staff are professional and friendly and my 9 year old daughter absolutely... More

Just completed our second camping holiday at the River Dart Country Park. Had a truly amazing time. The pitches on the Meadow field were enormous and we even had space left over on it , although we had a six man tent and one of the Coleman event shelters set up as well. The facilities were clean, and there was... More

Just got back from River Dart after camping for 4 nights with 4 sets of families. Can safely say we all had an amazing time, and already looking forward to going next year. I felt more organized this year as we brought with us a dinghy and long wet suits for the kids, and the pull up water guns from... More
