We spent a long weekend there with the Grandkids on the Riverside area of the campsite, good size pitch and not regimental with ridiculous rules. Constant hot water but I think the facilities could do with being cleaned more regular, keep your towel away from the little seat in the shower as the water sprays every where. I didn't rate the hygiene... More

The pitches are a decent size but the noise from other kids running around beyond 11pm meant we had a few sleepless nights. The activities for kids are great when the weather is dry. Zip wires, Zorbing etc but when it's wet there is nothing for them to do! Not even a decent movie to watch. For a campsite so... More

excellent place to stay and so much to do, just make sure you take spending money as all the activities cost but to be fair they aren't over priced and all the pricing info is on their website, and all the activities are a must! a really clean, tidy site. Washrooms and toilets were really clean and nice! Kids play... More

We only stayed for one night, but we are definatley going back when we have more time, not the cheapest campsite in the world but great value for money, The pirate ship lake is fantastic for kids but make sure you take a wetsuit. There is lots to do, loads of free adventure, the activities you pay for aren't cheap... More

We chose this campsite on the back of other reviews and we were not disappointed. It is as shown on the website. Facilities are impeccable and the atmosphere is relaxed. For many children it will offer a real chance to experience the outdoors in a controlled way. The activities are very well organised and not over populated. We did the... More

We went with family and our 2 children (21 months and 5 years) First two days were raining but it didn't matter as we were having so much fun. There is so much to do on site and away from site. The staff are friendly but very young and inexperienced but other than that couldn't fault it. Beautiful views, clean... More

Such a fantastic place for a camping break. We are new to camping but everything was made straight forward. The entrance with security was really well organised they had our name on the arrival list and were allowed in with ease making this system really safe as if you weren't on their list you couldn't get in. The booking in... More

The lads on the high wire we're excellent. I went up with my son who was up for it but, like me, scared witless. One lad in particular (I think his name was Sam) was brilliant. Calm patient and motivating and encouraged my son across the zip wire which he was adamant he wasn't going to go across. By the... More

My family of 5 - us and our three children (7,4 and 1) decided to stay at River Dart Country Park on 14th-17th August. We were travelling down to Devon (from Oxfordshire) to go to a Wedding on the 15th. Travelling down and finding RDCP was extremely easy. When you get to Ashburton you take the second turn off for...
