Another amazing holiday ar River Dart, I adore this campsite-its beautiful, spotlessly clean, staff are always friendly and the kids love it. This was our fourth annual stay at the park, each time we leave we book for the following year and add an extra day. Looking forward to next year!

Plenty of activities for the children, to keep them occupied. Fantastic place on a sunny day. I only did a day trip however the camping facilities looked very good.

This is an ideal place, and virtually unique, for a wedding or similar event. At the end of August my son got married here. We had exclusive use of the main house and coach house. It meant that the immediate family, including the bride and groom, could stay in the best bedrooms in the main house, other guests could stay... More

We were a little worried about going after the Noro Virus outbreak. Well we should not have worried, the site was spotless, lovely facilities. We found the staff cheerful and helpful. Had two good meals in the onsite cafe bistro. The park and play area beautiful lots to do for the whole family.

Just spent 4 nights camping and had a great time, even though the weather tried to spoil it! We camped on pitch 121 which was a great spot. Close to the amenties block and to the adventure playground and lake. All the staff were really friendly and everywhere was kept clean. The village of Ashburton is definately worth a visit... More

Just back from yet another great week at the River Dart Country Park. We have been bringing our grandchildren camping for the last 7 years and have twice tried other sites with the kids always asking to come back here. We started when they were 7 & 5 they are now 15 & 13 and still want to come again... More

We have just returned from 5 nights at RDCP and loved it - as a camping virgin I had no idea what to expect but have returned a happy camper! I have to praise the country park as we were the first visitors back in after the unfortunate incident with the Norovirus (no fault of River Dart Country Park). The... More

Came on the opening day after the Norovirus that had closed the park. Haven't been since I was a kid and our first time camping. Check in was easy & from the staff at the bar, to reception, to the camp wardens each was professional & a great help. The facilities were clean. Constant hot water and the pitches are... More

We have just returned from a week at this campsite. We camped for a week last summer as well. The facilities are great, lots of clean toilets and showers. Loads for the children to do including a fresh water play pool and pirate ship. Unfortunately the family feel of the site is lacking this year as large groups are being... More

I have just returned from a 3 night camping trip with 8 couples and 11 children aged between 8 months and 8 years. I can honestly say that it is the best campsite that I have ever travelled to. The campsite was very clean, and had a wide range of facilities for all ages including a zip wire, helter-skelter, beach,... More
