A brisk walk in the mist

Cheap parking, relatively. A good walk and some good history. Beware of cliffs for those with vertigo!

This place will always be special to me as its where my husband proposed in 2011, beautiful all round sea views, nice cafe up there too, lovely place for a walk, we always pay a visit when we are in Devon.

easy to walk to and beautiful views towards torqay and dartmoor. We walked up from Brixham. there is a costal path and it is about 20 min walk. Be aware of dogs and sheep.

Walked up to Berry Head from from Brixham Harbour. we were blessed with a sunny morning. Once on the Head itself the views were excellent from the sites of both forts. We did not see any birds other than seagulls and magpies but may be due to the time of year. We were pleased to visit for the stunning view over... More

Spent most of a day here. Lots of birdlife to see on the reserve, out to sea and on the cliffs. Lots of areas to stop and absorb. Guillemots breed here on the cliffs.p Beautiful views out to sea. If lucky you can spot porpoises and seals. There are the remains of 2 Napoleonic Forts here which are very interesting.... More

Even though the weather was unkind to us, the views and walks around Berry Head are stunning. There is a lovely cafe/ tea room at the top, with very friendly staff
