We've always enjoyed walking round Berry Head, but it's got even better now the new Cafe is open all year round. Good food, great service and lovely venue. Excellent.

On a recent trip to Brixham this walk was recommended to me and so I checked it out a few times. The weather was changeable and when calm the views were stunning, as was the closeness of history and nature with the forts, the Rescue Launch slipways, the Guillemot roosts and so on. The weather can be changeable and when... More

All very clean and tidy even thou lots of dog walkers no mess. Seats to sit and just watch the sea or the birds. Great for the children to just run around the fort and inside the cafe things to watch and do even thou the DVDs players were not working on our visit.

I am marking this Reserve down because of the poor provision for the disabled. When I complained I was told that a buggy was available if pre-booked. My father would be embarrassed to... More

A picturesque walk (approx 40mins) from Brixham Harbour. The Cafe and views from the Fort are excellent.

Stunning place, whether you love history and old Napoleonic forts or nature and walks... It has it all. Berry Head is also one of the most picturesque headlands in the country.

Berry head country park and historic monuments. This nature reserve is a must for any one visiting the area. It has history back to the stone age up to recently closed limestone quarry's. With fantastic Neapolitan forts yes two of them, open heath and woods plus flat areas for kites and ball playing. Wild life is plenty-full birds and mammals!... More

Visited here on last day of mini break to the area. Great place, lovely walks, great staff, very informative, lovely cafe. Only downfall was parking prices enforced by Torbay council. Will return.
