Intresting historical area. With the benefit of a tiny lighthouse. Their is an excellent cafe here, with modern decor and a good selection of foods and drinks. We walked from Brixham harbour, which is uphill all the way and may not suit people with walking difficulties. As parts of the route are through a woodland and other uneven surfced areas.

Great views over the bay, the fort and ruins were interesting. On our visit we saw a couple of seals by the lighthouse side of the cliffs. The Guardhouse cafe is nice

Beautiful place for a stroll. We went down to the bottom where we saw seals waiting for the anglers to chuck back fish. Lovely to see them in their habitat. Worth a visit and if you see anglers, you will see seals!! They are very clever! A real joy and made my day

Berry Head has good parking and access from there down into Brixham town centre for those prepared for the walk. Anyone who wants to take a more gentle stroll though, can enjoy the headland at an easy pace.Or for those who prefer to just make it from the car park to the brilliant cafe they can soak up 360 degree... What a great place to just walk and enjoy the scenery. We walked up to Berry Head and on the way stopped and just took in the breathtaking views. At Berry head we had coffee in the cafe very nice then continued to Berry Head lighthouse where we watched a pod of dolphins swim by. Great place for the gentle... More

This is a beautiful location and unspoilt by commercialism. The wildlife, the history of the area with the forts and wartime buildings and the shoreline and cliffs. Fantastic for the kids and dogs to stretch their legs and get some fresh air.

Berry head gives good views of the coast in either direction and is a pleasant walk. Not very likely to see dolphins as pictured but it is clearly possible.
