Glorious views, great for bird and sea watching, interesting historic remains (Fort dating back to Napoleonic Wars), easy cliff top walking and open spaces for kite-flying , picnicking, dog-walking,charging around generally--and a really nice cafe!

We walked up to the Berry head. It is an easy walk and we totally worth it. We walked up to the castle and the views from the top were stunning. It was not a very sunny day still we managed to take amazing photographs. Its some thing that you should definitely go when you visit the area.

If you enjoy rambling this is a must visit venue, stunning views from the cliff tops over Torbay and St Mary's Bay. Was amazed to see a huge container ship sail close by. The Guardhouse Café provides a welcome break and inexpensive meals or snacks. Remember to take your camera !

Berry head is somewhere you must visit whilst in Brixam. Nice walk along the seafront and fantastic views at the top. We didn't eat in the restaurant but it looked lovely.

Admittedly we were lucky with the weather - it was 23 degrees in the week of September we visited with cloudless blue skies and wall to wall sunshine - and oh my goodness the views were just breathtaking. Lots of benches to sit on around the cliffs - some quite near the cliff edge, picnic tables,... More

Been here a few times and I just love the place. Even when its bad weather the views are lovely. The lighthouse is different being so small but very high up. Had to watch my 4 yr old though as the edges of the cliff are dangerous but its just common sense really. We walked from Brixham round past a... More
