If the weather is a bit damp, pop in for a look round the Brixham Heritage Museum. I'm particularly interested in Modern History and Brixham's role in WW2 and the D-Day landings in June 1944 was very informative.

A very interesting place to visit if you are into the history of Brixham! Will go again in October on our nex visit to Brixham
Brilliant. A very informative visit packed with information which makes you want to return. Superb value for money, a visit is a must for any person interested in either the history of Brixham the coutries' fishing heritage and boat-building in the 19th century

Interesting displays - well worth a visit. Learned a lot about Belgian fishermen coming over during the war!

A voluntary organisation with many memories of Brixham over the years. Fishermen and farming lives. Also wartime memories.

If I had a criticism, I'd like to see a little less space given to general "olden days" stuff (Victorian parlour,...

If you are unable to get upstairs then there are full description books available downstairs, and please ask the kind volunteer staff plenty of...
