me and my husband crossed from Torquay, we paid on the doors without any problems and proceeded to cross. plenty of seats and the views are good as not too much open water between the two harbours. £2 return pp, keep hold of the tickets as you'll need on way back. word of caution, the line was very long on... i waited 45 minutes for the Shepard Lass boat to arrive with a 7 month old and a very excited 3 year old. It said on the notice board that there was another trip scheduled. As the boat came in the guy was shaking his head at me with a look of disgust on his face. He came up the... More

Today I took the grandchildren for a day out. Instead of using the car we decided to use public transport. The bus fare for one adult, two teenagers and an under five was the grand total of £6.90 for all day travel on buses in Torbay. Off we went to Paignton and changed for Brixham. On arrival in Brixham we... More

Don't use this ferry service! My family and I boarded a Greenway Ferry from Torquay to Paignton. The return trip was a nightmare ! The ferry arrived late to pick us up. As I disembarked the Ferry at Torquay Harbour, a loose box gave way from underneath me causing me and my sons pram that I was carrying to call... More

September 2014 we booked a mackerel fishing trip for our family. My wife sat down on the boat and realised she had sat in thick WET grey paint. Thank goodness it was not all over the children's hands too. We sent the shorts to Greenway Ferries who assured us of a refund. I have been chasing the refund for over... More

We took a trip in the summer from Brixham around to Dartmouth and up the river Dart on the fairmile. Not only did we get a beautiful view of the stunning coastline but also got a fascinating commentary from the crew on sites of interest but also got an amazing insight into the history of. Wartime vessel the fairmile which... More

Heavily subsidised service running when weather is good as you are in open sea. Great value at £2 return but expect no frills and you will be exposed to the elements. Great views of the coastline. The competition go further in to Torquay harbour but this one goes to the end of the palace pier which makes a nice walk... More
