For £1 you can take the ferry from Torquay to Brixham fantastic value. From Brixham you can get a bus back to Torquay which runs every 10mins.

We took a trip in the summer from Brixham around to Dartmouth and up the river Dart on the fairmile. Not only did we get a beautiful view of the stunning coastline but also got a fascinating commentary from the crew on sites of interest but also got an amazing insight into the history of. Wartime vessel the fairmile which... More

Heavily subsidised service running when weather is good as you are in open sea. Great value at £2 return but expect no frills and you will be exposed to the elements. Great views of the coastline. The competition go further in to Torquay harbour but this one goes to the end of the palace pier which makes a nice walk... More

Last day of the season so should have realised it would be choppy! B ut it was warm and did not look choppy, but we all got quite wet which made everone who sat outside run for cover. Did put a smile on our faces though.

This was my favourite day out during my week's stay at Paignton. We caught the steam train from Paignton to Dartmouth which was enjoyable and brought back memories of years ago but the highlight of the week has to be the trip on the Fairmile, the only remaining British WW2 rescue boat, We went to Torcross, Blackpool Sands and Slapton... What great value for money at £10 per person for a whole day out. Beautiful scenery, great friendly staff and very informative. We booked inpromptu at kiosk on Brixham harbour. We were a family of 6 young and old age 11 to 80 and was something for everyone. Felt very organised and loved the feel of trip being run by... More

we paid £2 for a return from Brixham to Torquay, which for a half hour boat trip is an absolute bargain. if staying in Brixham or Torquay it is far easier to get the ferry, than drive around the bay. ferries run every 45 mins off peak, through to 5 pm. They do not run in bad weather though. staff... More

I had a lovely short cruise and it was such a lovely day even on my own it was pleasant. We had a great commentary from a young man and it was most entertaining. In fact it was quite witty. I had some refreshments and and the trip itself was not expensive. I would recommend it. I like to take... More

We decided to use this service to Brixham instead of using the car. We'll worth the £2 each. smooth crossing & pleasant staff thoroughly enjoyed it.

In September we spent a day on a WWII heritage Warship, it was the Fairmile departing from Brixham. What a wonderful experience, we first of all sailed to Dartmouth where we spent an hour and a half in that lovely town. Boarding the Fairmile again we then cruised to Torcross ,Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands. At Slapton Sands we learned... More
