Quaint, but still a busy working fishing harbour, with an interesting history. William of Orange landed here and is commemorated in the statue on the quay side, with the inscription in Dutch. A working harbour with lots to see. A pleasant walk to the end of the breakwater followed by a tea on breakwater beach at the cafe..excellent.

This is a lovely place to visit. Brixham is a very small place but with plenty to do,There is a massive pirate ship which for a small donation the kids can go on !! I always find Brixham harbour beautiful and peaceful with loads of shops and eateries. I do prefer it out of the height of the season when it is not so crowded. Love it every time.
