The harbour is so pretty. Better than Torquay so glad we took the ferry over for £2 return!!!! There are plenty of restaurants and shops all within a short walk from the ferry drop off. Fab place.

Wow, found an unspoilt piece of heaven here. Monday and Thursday eveing the local brass band perform on the quay side. Plenty of sea food for sale, this is one of the UK's biggest fishing ports. No electronic games rooms, but loads of people "crabbing".

Lovely place have been coming for years always top of list. Unfortunately had a bad experience when an accident occurred while descending the new ramp on the passenger terminal heading for the ferry. Ended up at hospital. Would be interested to hear if anyone else has had an accident this year while using the new ramp.

Many restaurant menu's offer fish caught and brought into Brixham fishing harbour. Brixham Brass Band play Monday to Thursday evenings during the summer months. Children, and adults alike, spend hours crabbing. There are various... More

We had lunch in the Old Market restaurant which had a balcony to eat outside. The menu was varied and the food was stunning. Well worth the value; the fresh fish was cod and huge!!!! Would I... More

Brixham Harbour: take a seat outside one of the cafes or pubs on a sunny day, and watch time itself slow down. The world walks on by whilst you sip tea or a cold drink. Families with crabbing nets look over the railings in anticipation of bringing up their catch, kids screaming when they do! Watch the trawler men bring... More
