Superb place to visit both for the day and when you stay in Brixham. There was always something to do, to see and to watch. Don't forget to wander along the walkway beside the Fishmarket buildings onto Freshwater Quarry with it's magnificent views ove the outer harbour, Torbay seas and onwards to Exmouth and even Sidmouth on a clear day.... A very beautiful little fishing village and harbour with lots of cafes, pubs and shops along the keyside and in the town centre. There is also a large marina.

First time to Brixham but loved the visit. Nice weather helped and enjoyable walks around the harbour.

The port is the heart of the town, from the old sail boats to the modern trawlers they are all here. some of the country's best sea food can be found here. easy to walk around and walking distance to breakwater beach.

This is a very pretty little working harbour with pastel coloured houses situated up the steep roads leading down. There are the usual tea rooms, cafes, restaurants and attractions and one amusement arcade. generally the harbour felt safe, pleasant and interesting. There are ferries leaving and fishing boats returning to the working fish market. We had parking with our hotel... More

We visited the beautiful Brixham Harbour during the pirate weekend which was very well attended. The shops and restaurants are well laid out and all within easy walking distance (steps and hills taken into account),a small row of modern boutique shops are on the opposite side of the harbour and are worthy of a visit (take your purse!). The views... More

We adore Brixham, But unfortunately have always missed the Pirate Festival...until 2015.. This year we were fortunate to coincide a visit to this picturesque harbour, and the friendly atmospheric Pirates festival. Pure magic, so much effort and attention to detail, coupled with what fun, friendly people . Well done you Pirates.
