No matter the weather Brixham Harbour is beautiful. I have taken many great photographs of the boats and the lovely colourful buildings. There are plenty of reasonably priced car parks a short distance from the harbour & also along the roads. There are many gift shops along with a great choice of restaurants and cafes to choose from, especially if... More

We have been in Brixham twice (spring and winter) - so in the calmer season - and enjoyed our stay tremendously. Gorgeous scenery, magnificent walks, plenty of really restaurants and bars. We can recommend Brixham to anyone that enjoys the nicer bits in life!

Although my wife and I stayed here for New Year's eve it was still a charming working harbour, with boats even going out on New Year's day. Quite a few places were still open and enough to keep us amused. We will be definitely coming back in the summer to see the true beauty of this harbour.

Neglected by many visitors to Torbay this is definately the Jewell in the crown, boasting fantastic views and facilities around the harbour and a short walk beyond.

Arrived a few days before Christmas and well happy with the views and pubs - pity so many places closed but it was winter!

As well as the replica of the Golden Hind there are other interesting boats moored on the quay. Look out for the flock of turnstones squabbling over a starfish or the bolder gulls fighting over a crab.

The harbour is a delight to see at any time on the year and any time of day or night. It is full of charm and at Christmas time beautifully decorated. It is a working harbour and trawlers can be seen returning and unloading their catch. There are places to eat and drink around the harbour along with gift shops.... More

It was a cold windy day when we visited this working harbour, but I can see the benefits of a return visit in the Summer

Brixham Harbour has a nice mix of the old and the new with plenty of places to sit and eat the local fresh fish, loads of charter trips leave the harbour as well as the ferrys to torquay and paignton, the whole place is clean and well kept but the modern buildings on the quayside spoil the whole look of...
