Tucked away under the cliffs, south of St Peter Port this aquarium cum aquatics shop needs some attention. Some tanks were empty, some with no information and the whole environment was below what you now expect from this type of attraction.

Staff very friendly and made us most welcome. Was very quiet when we visited but meant we had plenty of time to watch and study the fish and retiles.

Very friendly & Helpful staff that have a Great Knowledge of the wonderful display of sealife that are on view here!! The surroundings add a Great deal to the exhibits & the star of the show was for me the tiny seahorse which was rescued from the road in the parish of Vale! For under a fiver I thought it... More

Just visited this aquarium for the first time and wanted to balance some of the reviews. My son loves sea life so we have visited quite a few aquariums around UK and overseas. We thought this one was good; atmospheric in the dripping, low light of the tunnel complex, with some charming examples of local marine life. Raymond the seahorse... More

Damp, dank and dingy. I felt depressed for the animals in captivity, no room to move nor stimulation. The tortoise was particularly upsetting, pacing back and forth on a bit of dirty carpet. Very little information on display about the creatures within, dirty tanks and poor lighting.

Sorry - but if you want to go to an aquarium - you expect more than this!!Been there several times and unfortunately, never saw any improvement in either the exhibits nor the actual place - it really needs some money spent on the place in order to upgrade it and provide - the very few interesting exhibits - with a... Nice atmosphere in the tunnels, would have liked to have seen more fish and reptiles. Nearest toilets at the Victorian Bathing Pools.

Went here at the beginning of March. It's basically a shop with a tired old aquarium in the back of it. I left feeling sorry for the reptiles and large fish they have stored in it. All of which I think would be better off in larger tanks. Place seems in dire need of upgrade.

We paid nearly a tenner (2 of us) to get in, had 2 minutes walking around looking at dead fish in dirty tanks. We told the staff about the floating fish, named the species, and they couldn't find them, sums it up really.
