The aquarium is well situated in a granite cliff South of town, with parking directly outside. We went here as a small family group and found it dreary and somewhat sparse. It may appeal to those with younger children. It has a shop attached, and, although entry isn't terribly expensive, there are attractions which present better value for money. There... More

A very small aquarium, but well presented. Not on the same scale as Plymouth or Bristol, which both offer "themed" displays, this one concentrates more on species, which was much more to our liking. The entrance fee was only a fraction of those others, which was particularly welcome! Didn't find anything to dislike.

Not expensive and a lot to look at. It could obviously be improved but, for the money, it wasn't bad.

Really worth a visit, not expensive to get in. Have loads of fish, reptiles, snakes to see. It is located in a tunnel in the rocks so it is quite dark which shows the fish up well.

In fact one of the worst. Such a shame. Plenty of fish and reptiles to look at, but why can't they spend a little time and money on updating the signs and improving the lighting. Maybe then they would have better reviews and attract more visitors.

Run-down, dirty and depressing with many of the tanks empty and the ones that had specimens looked a very sorry sight.

With a limited range of fish and a smaller array of reptiles, this attraction will entertain most families for about half an hour. The premises also houses a shop selling all things aquarium related including fish and does have some interesting specimens to look at, but the labelling is not always accurate and some looked decidedly deceased (especially one crab).

This aquarium was the absolute crowning glory of Guernsey for us. Our tour would show us such marvels as specsavers European office, an old BBC mast, a school our driver used to work in, Doris's house, a house that used to have goats and now doesn't. This though, was a 20 minute walk to a pet shop.

This is really an individuals collection of reptiles and fish - housed in an underground tunnel. A lot of the tanks are really far too small for the creatures and it's all a bit amateur. We popped in as my husband was visiting the military museum next door and it was raining - probably wouldn't have bothered otherwise!
