Lots of interesting exhibits and some interesting information on some of them, sadly not all. The Aquarium is located in a cave and generally well laid out and a cheap family attraction.

It really wasn't worth the walk. The fish and reptiles appeared well cared for but there were empty displays. A lot of the exhibits were not labelled and some were labeled incorrectly. There was very little information. The place felt very run down. This is the height of the holiday season, surely any work or refurbishments should have been carried... More

The whole place was really run down and dirty. Many tanks were empty. Many of those that had animals in them were labelled incorrectly. Some tanks were not illuminated (some visitors were using the flashlight on their mobile phone to try and see the insects). The water in a lot of tanks was cloudy. unacceptable presentation in the middle of... More

This is rather underwhelming and will not take long to complete. If it is a rainy day and you are stuck for something to do with small children then you could consider - otherwise avoid

We went to the aquarium to escape the rain! Its cheap to get in, although not that big. There were some interesting reptiles as well as fish to see, and it's unusual being underground. The lady on the desk was very helpful, and told us about the tunnels, and the refurbishments - some of the labels and exhibits are being... More

Needs some tlc As this attraction is looking a little tired and some of the fish had the wrong descriptions on their respective aquariums

this attraction is undergoing renovation when visited and so difficult to appraise. Has lots of interesting fish, reptiles and spiders etc including a large open tank with big fish in. Worth a visit to see whats in the seas around the coast.

Unlike most other aquariums, this is small, not well maintained, and poorly labelled with many empty tanks. It is dark and hard to read the signage. You enter through a fish store! Because of its location in old German tunnels underground, it is dank and wet. Go if you love aquariums but don't expect too much.

Lighting poor, information on fish / reptiles incomplete. The majority of the tanks have dirty glass. Basically a complete waste of money, do not bother to visit unless you are happy being conned. A local garden centre that sells fish would have a better & more informative display.

Although we were advised at reception that they were "doing some adjustments" at that time, we were not prepared for the general disarray that we found. Many tanks of fish were unlabelled or mislabelled, the floor was uneven (which is dodgy in the dim light). There was just a feeling that the whole place was unkempt. The fish themselves were...
