We turned up on a Sunday when unfortunately the house is closed but instead enjoyed ourselves int he most amazing gardens. There is a scupture trail set in the gardens and this is well worth a visit. The paths twist and turn a little so you never know quite what is round the next corner but the pathways are litter... More

This manor is beautiful on the outside and inside. The artwork is stunning along with beautiful woodwork and staircase. The gardens are very beautiful, too. Descendants of the Sausmarez Manor still occupy the manor.

This is a wonderfully eclectic-mix-of-a-place, with all kinds of attractions for you to wander around. We stopped off on an island tour, but didn't have time to do the tour of the house. Definitely worth a closer look.

Some things are free and others things you pay for. For free: The initial grounds, nicely done with a selection of sculpture to amuse you; and this also give you access to the lake and ducks. You can buy feed for the ducks. There is also a surprisingly extensive gift shop and a cafe with free wifi and you can... More

I am sorry you did not visit the Wild Subtropical garden which is so much enjoyed by people from all over the world or the Sculptures dotted around the Grounds and the Subtropical Gardens I would surprised if you did not come across plants you have not seen before. What we have is what we are and as advertised namely,... More

Went mainly to see the Coppersmith on the grounds of the manor and to get a real handcrafted Guernsey milk can.

A wonderful few hours spent wandering around the subtropical gardens and viewing the sculptures and wildlife on the pond. After hand feeding the ducklings and enjoying what the tearoom had to offer we went on a tour of the manor house, which we found very interesting. Our tour guide Huub was incredibly knowledable and engaging, and he really bought the... More

We had a fantastic guide, Stuart, who was very easy to listen to. The house and its history is really interesting, even our two teenagers were interested!

Beautiful gardens with a tea room and wonderful sculptures dotting the grounds. Did not visit the manor house but spent time in the shop and coppersmith.
