Great place to visit, the grounds, the duck pond and the vintage cottage were excellent. We spent all day there and went to the cafe which was very friendly and had a wide choice

Wandering through the Sculpture Park -- the exotic bamboo forest there is my favourite spot on the Manor estate -- I met visitors from Vermont. While they thought the sculpture trail was fun and the artwork excellent, their biggest fascination at the Manor was Guernsey Cans (coppersmith shop) located behind the manor house next to the coffee shop. They had... More

I live in Guernsey with my husband but our children and grandchildren do not. The family visit many times each year and Sausmarez Manor is always on the "want to do list". The tropical gardens continue to flourish and amaze (fantastic sculptures), Pitch and Putt for all the age groups (ranging for us from 5 to 67), the young ones... More

I have been visiting Sausmarez Manor for a number of years. It is not your average place of interest but then Guernsey is not your average holiday destination. The house has been in the same family for eight hundred years, it has a delightfully relaxed atmosphere and the garen if full of unusual plants. Of course the sculpture trail is... More

Went around the sculpture garden, and viewed a number of interesting sculptures in a natural surroundings. However did not think it value for money, £6 each you must be having a laugh! You get a £1 discount to visit the main house, but chose not to do that. To charge to look at something that is for sale is simply... More

Sausmarez Manor an historic house with its Saturdays farmers market, sculpture park, small gauge railway and pitch and put is a genuine gem at the heart of Guernsey's cultural life. Still managed by the original family, this Jacobean Seigneurie or Manor house was built for the first Earl of Andros ( the largest island in the Bahamas). It is steeped... More

As a repeat visitor to the island of guernsey, I very much enjoy my visits to sausmarez manor. I always ensure that I visit the farmers market on a Saturday, so that I can pick up some yummy treats go a beach picnic. This year we were treated to a garlic and pickle festival, a real treat for the taste... More

This is advertised as one of the top 3 attractions in Guernsey – how can this be so? We visited on a Saturday morning so the Farmers’ Market was in full swing, however describing it thus is disingenuous: it was more like a village fete with an extra 2 or 3 stallholders selling local produce (fish and seafood, local meat,... We visited Sausmarez Manor to do the sculpture park through the sub tropical gardens. It was amazing and stunning. It was raining, but that didn't matter and anyway much of it is covered by the lush vegetation. If you like mini golf and house tours, then I guess that is a bonus for you. World class art works in a... More
