If you like plants and orchids you will love this place. Collection built up over many years by Eric Young & now maintained as an attraction with his name. The main covered display area aims to maintain a constant display of orchids by moving plants from its other glasshouses as needed, producing a very professional display, the envy of many... More

Whilst on holiday we visited this attraction. We were let in for no charge as me and my wife were there as part of holidays for heroes. My wife loves orchids so she loved the orchid foundation as we had them for our wedding flowers. It isn't a huge attraction but it is thoroughly interesting and if you are into... More

Wonderful displays of stunningly beautiful orchids in a natural setting, Not very big, and it doesn't take long to see it all, but well worth a visit. Contrary to the comments of other visitors, we found the place quite easily as it is well signposted from most directions. You can get a cup of tea or coffee here, too. Nothing... More

What an amazing collection of Orchids. Some I didn't even know about. Displays changed every 6 weeks. On the Jersey Pass list or £4.50 adult £1.50 child 10-4 wed to sat. Wear light clothing as it can be very warm in here.

While in Jersey in July 2014, we were encouraged to visit the Foundation, and it was a great choice. I have several orchids myself, and they are by far my favourite houseplant. But the display that we were so honored to be able to walk through, was spectacular!! What a lovely place. We learned so very much about Orchids and... More

Always well presented with many varieties in bloom. Small but well worth a visit. Gives history of Orchids and staff happy to give tips about looking after the plants. Parking adequate but it is not all that easy to find but worth the effort if you like Orchids

We recently visited the Eric Young Orchid Foundation in Jersey. Although it is difficult to find it was worthwhile. It can best be described as small and beautifully presented. There was advice on hand. It contained stunning displays of differing types of orchids in a quiet and unhurried setting. To get there you really need a car and should be... More

Beautiful orchids but it is down narrow lanes. Follow the signs to Durrell from five oaks and it is well signposted.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Refreshments is only a help yourself but was a nice touch and very reasonably priced, would have been nice if they had pre packed sandwiches included in this area too. Was interesting to see such a wide range of orchids, didn't know there were so many varieties! Well maintained and relaxing environment.

The orchid centre is a little difficult to find unless you have sat nav. It is in a kind of residential area. It will only take about an hour of your time to wander through the greenhouse, unless you are an enthusiast and want to read all about them. There are so many beautiful orchids here and they are laid... More
