This is the best for those who like history. You can spend hours in the castle with views of France (on a clear day). There is more to explore as you get several castles in one with several different build phases and so much to explore and discover. Excellent and glad we took the time.

Really enjoyed our visit to this castle. The only downside, which the owners of the establishment might want to address, is that there are no clear signs showing the route that visitors should take. This would make it far easier to make sure that visitors get to see the whole of the attraction. We just seemed to wander about randomly... More

We were leaving that afternoon, but managed to squeeze in a two hour visit to Gorey Castle and we are so glad that we did. If you go, be sure to make it all the way to the very top. And be sure to take in all of the displays and artistic installations. Another big WOW for Jersey. So impressed... More

A lovely old castle to walk around and if you've got a head for heights, you can even walk up on the highest ramparts and roof! There's even a German lookout post to peer out of, but you need to be tall to see through it! We could see France and had great views across the coastline. There wasn't a... More

It was very old, there were a lot of interesting things here, even though it was raining when we visited it didn't spoil our enjoyment. Because there are a lot of stairs it would not suit people with mobility problems

there wasn't anything to dislike, from the moment we entered, the history was well laid out in every room, only negative thing wich can't be helped but not for people with walking problems, due to the large amount of steps.

Excellent couple of hours. £11.50 entrance, but worth it! Very well catered for tourists without spoiling the castle. Lots to see, stunning views, fascinating history. Very enjoyable.

We took the bus from St Helier (very easy) and arrived just after the castle was open, so it was quite and a great time of day to visit. It was a very interesting place to visit, but with some narrow and step steps. Plenty to look at and the views are amazing

Good view of the castle and harbour from a high point nearby and a short walk brings you to Gorey Gardens, very well kept and colourful and at night the castle is lit up making it a perfect place to visit.

This turned out to be a good decision to spend a couple of hours in this castle. Full of history, good displays and pieces of art ... 3-D hologram of the Queen is something else!
