Visited here and looked up the the castle from the beach. Dry , beautiful, windy day spent skimming stones with my son. The castle is magnificent to look at from below.

Very interesting and well maintained. Great views from the roof. Can spend a good couple of hours here. Not cheap though, £11.70 for an adult or £33 for a family will put many off. Whilst I agree that the money goes the maintaining the castle, I suspect this makes a lot of profit too. Open in winter unlike most attractions... More

Great experience seeing this Jersey attraction. Will need at least 2 hours to take all in. Think the price of 11.50 per adult is steep.

This castle and its surrounds are amazing! Defiantly worth going. We spend the whole day walking around the area and exploring. Stunning nature and surrounds. Can only imagine how beautiful it is in summer.

Myself my son and daughter had a great time just wandering around absorbed by the history and the wonderful displays. We watched the time team programme after our visit and it made the whole visit even more enjoyable. Good for all ages wet or dry weather fun

Came here on the most windy, blustery, rainy day ever but with best feet forward we made our way through all the lovely (and not so lovely) nooks and crannies of this amazing building. i found it really interesting and some of steps were quite scary and we did leave Mum at the bottom. She is 85!! The views considering... More

I have been a castle " buff" since childhood and love the classic mediaeval castles of North Wales through to the 16/17th century walls of Berwick, etc. Mont Orgueil has something from all of the great castle periods and even includes German WW2 additions. It is great to explore, with lots of wonderfully confusing levels, stairs and styles, because of... More

Visited here in November 2014 having caught the bus along the coast from St. Helier. If you visit Jersey, make sure you visit this place. Some architecture here and some amount of history. I'm not sure if we could build something like this today. Really interesting couple of hours and it's some view when you are at the top. Definitely... More

Gorey Castle has moved into place as one of my top three castles ever! Wonderful views (not just of the sea and boats but also some very nice houses!!), really interesting info boards, lots of stairs to climb and rooms to explore, great staff. We spent several happy hours exploring - and the weather was wonderful!
