I went to the castle this morning with my two young (3 & 7) children and wife. The staff at the ticket office were friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable and very helpful. The castle is an amazing place. It takes a lot to keep young children interested and they loved it, there is a lot to see, as well as the... More

An excellent castle, full of passageways, turrets, cellars and rooms to explore. Everything is left for you to touch and feel, all very natural. The extra art exhibits hidden around the site are surprising and interesting, they definitely add to the experience.

This is a very old and very well preserved castle with an interesting history. However there are a lot of steep steps to climb throughout the building. Guided tours are available.

The views are stunning, but what makes this castle special is its history. It is a defensive castle starting with the Norman structure ending with German outlooks. Lots of steps, lots of architecture and history, few places have been visited by so many monarchs. Excellent for exploring and letting the imagination run free. The holographic portrait of the Queen is... More

We were really glad we chose to visit this castle, probably the most picturesque castle we have been to. Probably best visited in good weather as a big part of the experience is exploring the winding maze of paths and steps and gardens leading up to the main castle itself. We went in May and the wild flowers growing on... More

It is ok if you don't have much else to do and you're in the area at the time. I wouldn't make any effort to visit. It's expensive for what it is. There are a lot of steps, some very steep and a little narrow. Some of the areas are a bit dark and lack interest. The views from the... More

This is such a worthwhile place to stop and explore. We loved the setting with people in traditional costume etc, we explored all over and the views where amazing from the top. You could almost feel what it must have been like all those years ago. Great job of restoring yet keeping the historical feeling.

There are steps, some very narrow, and curving, but wow, the sights inside are amazing - such a great history lesson and some beautiful and interesting rooms. The views of the ocean are amazing, and of Jersey as well! There is a really nice little play park which our 3 year old enjoyed. This is a really great castle to... More

Beautiful place, worth to visit We hired a car and drove around the island. Jersey is small so one day is enough to visit a round. The castle is best place and very worth to visit. 很值得一去,挺漂亮的 我们去得那天天气很好 风很小 可以骑车去 也可以公交去然后走回来的 景色很不错 退潮以后 很像是打怪练级的地方呢
