Nice and clean and close to the town centre - always a nice option and we visit often. Nice to just sit and watch the world go by

We had a wonderful stroll along the beach last week, the beach was clean. The sea was also clean and very inviting

The walk around this beach and out to Elizabeth Castle is lovely. The tide goes out far and when it does unfortunately leaves a lot of seaweed type stuff which has rather a distinctive smell. Near the beach you can get on the Dottie train and also get the ferry out to the castle.

I say this beach is awful because of the seaweed left across the whole 5 miles of beach when the tide is out. It is not a pleasure beach nor is it sold as such but I am sure some entrepreneur could utilise the smelly seaweed somehow. The best thing of course is the views of Elizabeth Castle and watching... This a sandy beach which over the years has gone down hill. Not sure why as it very sandy and when the tide is in it safe for swimmes and children. The views are fantasic and there are toilets and cafe close at hand. Only bad point is that they do not clear the weed as much as they used... More

Unfortunately St Aubins Bay has a big problem this year with Sea Lettuce which is not only invading the beach, it also smells quite strongly. I know the authorities are discussing solutions but they do need to get this sorted. The locals are also unimpressed with the apparent lack of action. Otherbeaches were great.

The walk to the Castle when the tide is out is great and once you are there even if you don't wish to visit the castle itself you can still enjoy the beach around it!

St Helier beach is a bit drab and covered in Sea Lettuce - which smells just a bit. There is a nice promenade though and lots to do

Unfortunately the smell down here is just awful - the beach is covered in slimy green seaweed at low tide and is just unpleasant to walk along. We find the smell overpowering....hope it is just the seaweed! ;-)
