St Helier Beach is the place to be for a gorgeous golden tan in the summer on a glorious sandy beach where in the distance you can see the historic Elizabeth Castle which is also well worth a visit. If you have children they would also love it here. Plenty of local venues to eat nearby & lots to see... More

Every twelve hours on this beach you can see the tides. Here on this island at the Channel the difference between high and low is +10 meters. At low tide you can walk to the over the sea bottom to the Elizabeth Castle on a little island.

This is a fantastic place for a good walk to blow any cobwebs away, plenty of space to walk on beach(when tide out) or on the promenade if tide in, spectacular views of Elizabeth Castle.

My husband and I travelled to Jersey for the first time in November. The weather was really mild and sunny most days. We stayed in an apartment inland and travelled into St Helier. Whilst it was too cold to venture into the water, the beach was really clean, and St Helier itself is a lovely place (more expensive than UK).... More

The beach is enormous with space for everyone. It is kept clean and the views are beautiful. Perfect for those who enjoy long walks and also for those who like to relax. Would most definitely say it is in my top 10 beaches.

Went over Christmas / New Year and walked along the beach which goes on for miles. Very white sand. Really impressed by how clean it is and how white the surf is. Really shallow sloping beach so probably very safe for families/children.

A fabulous beach that is incredibly safe and very good for children. It is also very clean. We were there at a time when the Festival of Motoring was on and it was used for some vehicle races, very exciting and plenty of space for spectators.

Fabulously large beach with a very big tidal change. Lots of chan and interest as you walk it. Plenty of toilets, shelters and cafe.
