A very large stream clock, very strange location for such an impressive clock. Located right next to a very busy and noisy road, this clock rings bells, toots, whistles and blows bubbles on the hour. Interesting to view the mechanics of this, the largest steam clock in the world.

I was under the impression that this would chime and blow steam (based on things I'd read) but it did neither despite visiting on more than one occasion. It may only operate during the summer season tough. Still a lovely thing to see and worth a visit to see this and the benches around here and the marina.

A novel clock driven by steam power and they say it is the only steam clock in the world. It is shaped like a packet steamer and is worth a look for the curiosity value. Shame you cannot play on it because it looks like it ought to be a great climbing toy but there are notices on it warning... More

Not an attraction as such, hence the rating but interesting to see a steam powered clock. The paddle wheels actually work

I couldn't see what it was about. Is it run by steam? I don't think so. What's the point of it? Yes, it told the time but that's about it as far as I could see.

An interesting piece of machinery, though unfortunately when we visited there was little evidence of the steam aspects operating. I was more interested, therefore, in the plaques on the surrounding benches, giving details of some of the the historic shipbuilding of Jersey and the associated shipyards.

We drove past this little attraction on the way to Gorey so stopped on the way back to watch the action at 5pm. It is fascinating but we did expect a little more action. Disappointed to hear 3 toots at 5 o'clock!

Really brightens up the quayside. Reminds me of a steam train. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area or even driving past.

Ariadne did not blow bubbles or make a noise while we were there. Another shame on Jersey, a land with so much money and so little care for it's residents.

I liked this just for the novelty of how it looks. It makes a dull quayside a bit more colourful and interesting. Worth a photo if you are walking past (which we did on our way to the maritime museum).
