Just writing to endorse your previous reviewers' comments. Very nice but more information would really help this attraction and add to interest and enjoyment. Not clear what the relationship of Ariande is to Jersey.

Well worth looking at if you are in the harbour area and a real novelty for the children. Best on the hour

The clock is interesting for a quick look but won't take long to do so. Fortunately it is over the road from the main square in the town centre so you don't need to walk out of your way to view it. And it is free to do so. It is adjacent to the marina which is also worth having... More

Bought during the era of Jersey's economy having money to burn, this was a complete waste of our (Jersey tax-payers') money. These days they can't even afford to run it on steam, so it's powered by electricity.

Steam clock looks nice and is worth a quick look on you way to Liberation Square or the Museum, may even pause to eat lunch or ice cream on one of the benches - but that's what it is: a nicely ornamented public space. Do not expect more or you will have to learn to bear the disapointment.

We saw this opposite Liberation Square and read about it in the guide book but could not find any information by the clock itself or in the maritime museum behind it.

This was worth a look as you walk past, which no doubt you will as there are lots of other things in the vicinity but I wouldn't make a special trip just to view it. As other reviewers have mentioned there isn't enough information about it. Some history to the clock would be interesting.

Nothing remarkable or really out of the ordinary, just a clock run by steam! Nothing else I can say.
