Interesting clock

This clock is located near the marina, nice to see as you drive by in the car. Colourful and of use. Worth a visit if you are passing.

OK, it is mounted on something purporting to be a steam engine. And it tells the time (usually). Worth walking across the road to take a photograph, I suppose, if you are really keen

This is an feature beside the marina but frankly nothing happened there were no bells or whistles etc or even steam coming out of it show that it was steam driven. Take a quick look but not really something to linger around.

We had no time to visit te maritiem museum but we like that area of Sint Hellier so we decided to visit the steam clock. There was not a lot to sea or to hear. Dont,t bother to go just for de clock.

This steam clock is supposedly the largest steam clock in the world. It looks like a steam paddle boat from the Mississippi. It is kitschy at best. If ti weren't the largest steam clock, I doubt most people would give it a second glance.

I walk past this several times a year and never actually taken the time to have a good look around. Today I did. Have always admired this although there was alot of hype about it being a waste of money but fellow locals at the time it was put there! I think it really suits the area and a good... More

Wandered over to see what all the fuss was about, took a couple pictures, wandered off. If you're an engineer like me, it's interesting.

It is not worthy of a detour but if you are in the visitors marina area or near liberation square, it is probably worth seeing. Not much more to say about it really.
