We didn't walk all the way to the lighthouse as the weather was awful but we made it close enough to get a great view and take some fab pictures. When the tide is out, you can walk right up to the lighthouse itself which, like most of Jersey, offers the most amazing views across the bay. Only downside was... More

Ask at Jersey tourism if there are any guided tours to the site (including the interior of the lighthouse). You will receive a full introduction in its history and the way it still works. Pick up one of the binoculars inside and enjoy the view. Great experience which cost in 2011/12 GBP 12. Worth it.

Great views from the lighthouse back to the shore and a lovely walk across when the tide is out. It is very steep in places so may noy be suitable for some (I managed it at 5 and a half months pregnant back in 2010)

lovely views but there is very little around the area (one pub) so if you're relying on buses it's worth timing it well rather than getting stranded for 2 hours. no info is provided around the area so take a guide book.

On a lovely sunny evening you cannot beat the views from this stunningly placed restaurant, over looking the lighthouse and the bay beyond. The set priced meal was excellent value for money, and the food was quality ingredients presented beautifully, much more than you would normally get for a fixed price menu. I really liked the different breads, dips and olives... More

Best scallops on the island with a great view of the lighthouse. They offer good old fish and chips with mushy peas - mint sauce on request. Only doubt is what kindof fish it was as, this came as pieces rather than a whole fish. Wine list OK but not extensive
