Although the lavender season was over we took time to have a bite to eat in the cafe, and what a wise choice. I enjoyed my trip to this Lavender farm. The distillery was fascinating and the fields were relaxing to walk around. We had a nice cake and tea in the cafe. Trust the visitors from Scotland to begrudge the entrance fee but for me it was well worth it. more
Visited Lavender Farm in Late August, discovered that the Lavender was not in Bloom, indeed the harvest was completed. I think it would have been better to visit June/July. Unfortunately lavender does have a season to it, so at some point the harvest is over - it was the 22nd August this year (2008) - the very day the reviewer visited. We do put signs up advising that the harvest is over, and on that day the visitor would have seen that the field beside the entrance had no...
the lavender stuff is nice and reasonbely priced, lunch and afternoon teas are ok. the farm itself is fairly interesting, im not sure its a place you could visit again, but its fine for a day visit. more
Friendly, family owned farm. Fascinating process to see the harvesting and distillation of the lavender and how the perfumes are made and filled. Really tranquil place, beautiful gardens. cafe serves delicious cakes. more
