It was an enjoyable experience. We had a lot of fun watching the guys in our group making scones. The best of all....we got to eat the scones.

We came on a bus with about 48 people from a cruise ship. Catherine still managed to make us feel like we were friends visiting her in her home and not hordes taking over her cookery school. Catherine was personable and friendly. Two volunteers got to bake scones alongside Catherine (with one of Catherine's assistants helping out). They made savory... More

I won a place on Catherine's Southern Italian course and was chuffed to bits. Love the TV series and when I arrived at Ballyknocken House after a very scenic drive from Dublin I was delighted with the set up in the cookery school. Catherine arrived in the room at 11.25 and the atmosphere was revved up a notch or three!!... More

What a wonderful place, not far from Dublin. Catherine is fantastic, and has those smiling Irish eyes. We were there only for a quick class of scone baking. We had to eat the tasty scones with rhubarb & ginger jam and a cup a tea in the end. OMG!!! There is also a B&B on the property. Thank you Catherine... More

Thank you Catherine for showing us from two globus buses how to make scones this morning, it was wonderful as we sampled some afterwards. A great experience, so if you get a chance, make an appointment with this celebrity chef and nice lady. Cheers Mark

Advice stick with Catherine when you're cooking. Our chap kept disappearing! We cooked our own lunch and overall not a bad mornings work. Expensive course.

Wow, what an amazing place! Catherine Fulvio is a little firecracker, so full of life and friendly. They put on an entire Irish fair for our business reward trip, @ 180 of us! Complete with how to make the best Irish Whiskeys, clay pigeon shooting, archery, driving in the hills, sheep herding, scone making, falconry, Irish dancing and more! So... More

i went with a group of approximately 24-30 people (it was a business reward trip) so we had our own private class with Catherine Fulvio. She is so friendly, welcoming and very down to earth. Her warm smile is so genuine that you feel like you are hanging out with a friend. She is not pretentious or stuffy but sweet... More

Went on a day when we learned southern Italian cuisine. It was an ambitious menu, but well thought out in the already prepped items. I learned to roll pasta for the first time & it was delicious. Loved sitting at the table & sharing the food we made along with some wine with everyone that was there. Catherine Fulvio is... More

Myself and my teenage daughter took part in the 7 meals for 7 days class this weekend. From start to finish the Ballyknocken Cookery School were very professional and very friendly too. We had initially hoped to book a class with Catherine as we are both big fans if her cooking however, we had left it too late on this... More
