Apprehensive at first. Working with a group of people I didn't know. Being instructed by a chef I'd only seen on TV. But the result was a great experience I hope to repeat soon. Catherine is wonderful at motivating and the shared experience of eating what we had created was excellent. I'd recommend it to anyone, man or woman, experienced... More

I bought a day cookery course for my mother for her birthday this year and decided to treat my girlfriend to the same so they both went off for the day. The overall day was described by both of them as very average and nothing too amazing about the recipes or tips. The most disappointing thing however, was the time... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights during our trip to Ireland on the recommendation of my sister who also LOVED this place when she visited. And boy was I glad I took her recommendation! The staff was welcoming, the breakfasts were lovely, and the room clean, spacious, and romantic. We also ordered a picnic for a hike... More

A group of about 15 of us are just back from a great day and night in Ballyknocken. I would highly recommend it. We had a hen party and sent a lovely afternoon cooking beautiful with very professional staff. It's a really well equipped kitchen, the setting is lovely and it was food that was lovely but manageable and I... More

Just attended a morning cookery class with Catherine Fulvio in Ballyknocken Cookery School. The theme for our class was 7 nights, 7 meals - 1 plan. Catherine was really friendly and the recipes were very easy to follow. Will definitely be making these at home. The class is very hands on and you leave with loads of extra tips and... More

Stayed in Ballyknocken house (B&B) and took a half day course in the cookery school. Both were fantastic and well worth the long Drive. Situated in Co. Wicklow the place is very scenic. Our time there was relaxing and great value for money. Will definitely be back 5/5 :)

I took my wife and daughter to Ballyknocken Cookery School while we were visiting Dublin. What a fantastic experience we had with Catherine and Anthony. Catherine has a wonderful, charming and engaging personality, is passionate about cooking, and taught us to make some great meals. This experience is very worth the drive from Dublin (get directions in advance though). The... More

I don't know what impressed me the most. Catherine's amazing hospitalty and her bubbly personality or her cooking skills. I was at the cookery with a group earlier in the week. On the weekend, my family joined me for the holidays and I decided to take them to the cookery Catherine was wonderful and was able to fit us in... More
