went fishing here , too weedy, everywhere!!!! broke the tip of my rod, borrowed one, caught nothing cos of the weeds. kids activities are rubbish and pricey.

There were great views but little else to make you go back. Needs a small centre to encourage people to stay longer

Very good if you are a fly fisher person, nice for a day out and in a good location, some nice fish to be caught there

Lack of shelter about because its a wide open place and the wind sweeps through ye.when i was around there wasnt a sinner there other than a herron fishing.not good for kids going elsewhere in future to keep the rascals happy.

If you're anywhere near the Lakes (they're a little tricky to find by the way) then i would highly recommend a visit!
The long windy-road ends at a lake with an array of adventure activities and fun outdoor things to do - everything from fishing (of course!) to pedal-boats and there's a playground/activity field. There is a small cover charge...

An out of the way location close to Dunshaughlin Co. Meath. M3 from Dublin exit for Ratoath otherwise pay a toll. OK day out.
