Went on the Sunday after being to Tayto park on Sunday, kids were tired so a short walk to look at the animals and a great lunch after wards was the trick. We also bought our fruit and veg for the week, a nice 2 hours spent.

Little bit out of Ashbourne, but right next to our yard, so very handy. This place is ALWAYS busy! Its great food, good prices and very relaxed. We arrive up in yard clothes - so not overly clean, and there could be people in all sorts of attire - well dressed to cyclists, all welcome! I'd recommend taking a spin... More

Really tasty food and great atmosphere! They also grow their own products and sell them to their customers. People are allowed to visit the farm animals as well as to feed them. It is an unforgettable experience for little kids.

Saw the sign and stopped for breakfast, we were not disappointed. Lovely full Irish and the best French toast with fresh fruit that I have tasted in years. Friendly staff and nice décor. Fresh farm produce is available in the shed and the farm animals are a great attraction for young and old.

Wow! 5* farm. The fresh vegetables available at the farm are superb and the kids enjoyed the the pigs, donkeys & and goats. During a recent visit I got a fantastic lunch at the onsite restaurant.

I am a regular visitor to New Barn Farm and let me stress that the food is superb. However, the owner is highly rude and is always hovering around waiting to pull the plate from under you as soon as you take your last bite. He unashamedly loiters around the restaurant in dirty shorts, getting under the feet of staff... More

The food is amazing. Friendly waitress. My children love feeding the animals. They ask us to come back every day.

Loved looking at all the colourful veg and fresh fish for sale at the farmer's market. Came home with a bootful! Our daughter enjoyed seeing the animals, especially the two black pigs in the farthest shed. Sweet donkeys, too. I realise it's a working farm but a greater variety of animals would be even more fun.

We had a lovely visit here. The child loved seeing the animals. Hopefully they will get more. Fresh vegetables, specialist foods, and fresh fish on sale in the barn. All looked delicious. The restaurant is called the Donkey Shed and is separately reviewed on Trip Advisor. It's well worth a visit.
