Nice little place with farm animals and a farm shop. The farm shop is good selection and quality veg, but did get strawberries and it turned out they were mouldy when we got home. We said it to them the next week we came back and in fairness they replaced them. I am not sure the eggsa are from the... More

We would visit at least every two weeks & pick up the lovelest strawberrys around, you won;t get them form the supermarket again after tasting these & they are cheaper than the shops also. I love the fresh veg & it is so good to see the kids excited about getting fresh fruit & enjoying it. p.s. if you have... More

Heard about the farm while looking for things to do with kids. Arrived and thought we'd get a bite before having a look around. The Donkey Shed restaurant is just amazing, extensive menu using ingredients from the farm and the portions were not stingy. The staff very friendly and kid friendly too. The farm is just perfect for toddlers with... More

Great service here as we arrived with children to get us settled. Very busy. We had a great lunch made of food produced on the farm. Melt in the mouth brown bread. Attentive service during our meal. We both really enjoyed our meal. They also have a good range of options on the menu. They even have a craft beer... More

Bring some carrots for the donkeys and bread for the ducks and the kids will be entertained for ages. The food in The Donkey Sheds Restaurant is excellent and the produce on sales in the farm shop is fresh and extremely good value

Went on the Sunday after being to Tayto park on Sunday, kids were tired so a short walk to look at the animals and a great lunch after wards was the trick. We also bought our fruit and veg for the week, a nice 2 hours spent.

Little bit out of Ashbourne, but right next to our yard, so very handy. This place is ALWAYS busy! Its great food, good prices and very relaxed. We arrive up in yard clothes - so not overly clean, and there could be people in all sorts of attire - well dressed to cyclists, all welcome! I'd recommend taking a spin... More

Really tasty food and great atmosphere! They also grow their own products and sell them to their customers. People are allowed to visit the farm animals as well as to feed them. It is an unforgettable experience for little kids.

Saw the sign and stopped for breakfast, we were not disappointed. Lovely full Irish and the best French toast with fresh fruit that I have tasted in years. Friendly staff and nice décor. Fresh farm produce is available in the shed and the farm animals are a great attraction for young and old.
