I am a regular visitor to New Barn Farm and let me stress that the food is superb. However, the owner is highly rude and is always hovering around waiting to pull the plate from under you as soon as you take your last bite. He unashamedly loiters around the restaurant in dirty shorts, getting under the feet of staff... More

The food is amazing. Friendly waitress. My children love feeding the animals. They ask us to come back every day.

Loved looking at all the colourful veg and fresh fish for sale at the farmer's market. Came home with a bootful! Our daughter enjoyed seeing the animals, especially the two black pigs in the farthest shed. Sweet donkeys, too. I realise it's a working farm but a greater variety of animals would be even more fun.

We had a lovely visit here. The child loved seeing the animals. Hopefully they will get more. Fresh vegetables, specialist foods, and fresh fish on sale in the barn. All looked delicious. The restaurant is called the Donkey Shed and is separately reviewed on Trip Advisor. It's well worth a visit.

Lovely and well priced for breakfast. Lunch a bit pretentious and service can be very slow. Lovely to see the animals on a sunny day. Great selection in farm shop and fresh fish stall on certain days. Am a regular visitor

Well priced lunch of high quality. Duck sandwich was excellent. Swiss burger and kids burgers also very good, great to see quality food for kids which is often not the norm. Fresh fries. After a quick visit to the pigs, hens, donkeys, geese, goats and cows. Would definitely return. Lunch for four with soft drinks €45

This a great place to bring the kids. They have a few animals you can look at and they have a restaurant where the food is of a very good standard. The veg shop has most of the produce locally produced which is also used in the restaurant.

Only 20 minutes driving from Dublin, shop with local products , fresh vagetables, fruits, juices. Restaurant has very good food in resonable prices, all cooked with fresh products. And of course farm animals, big atraction not only for kids.

I'm have no problem in supporting local Irish attractions however this is just a shed selling fruit and veg (same as any supermarket). There is also a restaurant on site called the Donkey Shed, which is a lovely dinner, which to some extent is a redeeming factor.
